Don't need a whole lot. I use the gray course grind Celtic sea salt. I add about 4 or 5 crystals to my water or sometimes to my tea. It just gives it a nice background taste.....nothing like the strength you would use to gargle.

I am bad about forgetting the salt so at lunch every day I just put it in my hand and wash it down with a drink of water. I am real bad about the oil too and hate EVOO. I know this sounds NASTY but it is the only way I remember to take it. I use grape seed oil after my salt and just pour a tsp and take it with a few sips of water. It is not too bad because it does not have much of a flavor. This way I know I am getting my required intake. I will take a little more salt usualy before bed too because I drink over 120 oz of water a day.

I too have to make sure I get salt. Sometimes more than is reccommended. My blood pressure tends to dip low. Even before I started the diet. Like this week I was 98/62. Kind of crazy. I can feel when it is low because I have this dizzy light headed feeling.

I use pink Himalayan sea salt from the health food store. I don't like salt and have never used it on anything except french fries. The only way I get it down is to dissolve the half teaspoon in a small amount of warm water and sling it down my throat! Then I follow that with copious amounts of fresh water to wash it down. It only tastes bad for 5 seconds this way, and this method works for me. Other wise I would never get it into my diet

I too only ever used salt for french fries...i don't usually salt my food so i try to use a bit of it when i cook my meat and a bit on veggies if i make brocoli or something like that but otherwise i don't think i get all my salt and i can't just drink/eat salt (especially not after having done the warm water/salt cleanse, lol).
