Is the soy patty restricted?
I'm trying to bootcamp it this week. I want to have a taco salad for lunch with my soy patty but it's not on the list that shows whether something is restricted or not. Anyone know?
I wasn't 100% bootcamp this weekend. I went to a party on Friday nite and was 100% - ate shrimp and veggies and drank club soda with lime. And when I got home I had my IP snack - the choc covered soy balls. I had a little WF dressing and marinated my chicken in the WF asian dressing and I had one splenda sweetened orange crush. But other than that I stayed pretty tight. Now I want to bootcamp till my weigh in on Wednesday. |
It's not restricted. :) I have the first weekly planner meal, and it's not bolded (meaning not restricted).

Great! Thanks xjennyd. That would have really messed up my lunch plans

I actually like the soy patty. I was surprised.

I like the soy patty too. My favorite way is as crumbles, kind of like hamburger, but, I also like it as a very thin crispy patty. I don't care for it much in thicker patties or "meatball" or "falafel" styles.

I didn't expect to like it and let it sit around for weeks before I tried it. But it's really good. I make it like a patty but add chipotle spices and then crumble it up and make a taco salad out of it. I guess you could just have it with veggies like a hamburger patty but to me, a hamburger isn't a hamburger without a bun. but maybe with fake mashed potatoes it would be like a full meal.

I made "hamburgers" with lettuce leaf buns and "sliders" with mushroom caps. Still not the same as we are all use to but, it filled a void for me.
