I just wanted to take a moment to jump in to the discussion and introduce myself. My name is Tracy and I have prior experience with IP. I lost 43 pounds last year! Unfortunately, around Thanksgiving of last year, I allowed my old emotional eater take charge of my life again. In the months since, I have gained back 31 pounds! I know that sounds impossible, but I did it.

Well, as of today, enough is enough! I made it through day 1 of my new start with IP. Hopefully, I will last long enough to meet my goal this time and bury that emotional eater that makes my life a living ****.

So, here I am today. Looking forward to tomorrow! :boxing:

Welcome back, Doxi! Sorry to hear things got rough and you went back to old habits. Seems like a few of us are here with that background. Get back on program! There is plenty of support and since you did it once, you can surely do it again!

Tracy..Glad you are back and ready to go. Good luck today on IP! You can do it again.

Scofflaw Hope your loss picks up. I only lost 1.6 last week. It is hard when it is slow.

I made it through my dinner party last night..despite the fact that the private chef did not finish the famed paella meal until 8pm. Way way too late. I am proud that I stayed on while everyone else indulged.

One more day until WI..I have lunch ready to go for tomorrow.

Definitely bring extra packets in case you get stuck with no food choices. Are you staying somewhere you can cook or will you have to eat out?

So my coworker who started this last Monday was kind of avoiding me all day. (The one who had a fit about her size 14s since I was in 12s.) Anyway, I told another coworker I was wondering how her weekend went and really wanted to ask her but if she hadn't told me I was going to pry. Then after I thought about it awhile I decided if she can ask me my weight and pant size I can ask how her weekend went. I kinda figured she wasn't eating op at lunch because she left and she usually eats in the breakroom. I found her at last break. I just politely said, "how'd your first weekend on the plan go?" She said, "F...in sucked! This diet is too restrictive and not for me. I only lost 2 pounds and 2 inches the whole week." I didn't ask what she ate or drank, she's a big drinker, this weekend or tell her that she really lost it in 4 days since Friday, Sat and Sun weren't OP. She thinks she just doesn't have enough to lose for it and she needs something where she can eat what she wants and have more sugar. I wanted to say go ahead and find a diet where you can eat what yo want and have lots of sugar and still lose the weight but I was a good person. I asked if she has lots of shakes left and she said yes. She only bought for 10 days so she couldn't have followed at all this weekend with what she has left. I offered to buy the shakes that I like from her but I didn't have to do that. Her mom does the food lovers diet and I tried to get her to check that out first but she was determined to do this since I can. She spent $92 on supplements and stuff so she seemed half mad at me. I told her right off hand that it she couldn't blame the diet if it didn't work because it's obvious it works. You just have to make it work. I tried talking her out of it but she was so excited to see results like I have and even ate like a crazy lady her last week so she "wouldn't miss all the bad stuff". I knew it wuldn't last long. Other coworkers said the same thing. I honestly can't believe anyone would quit after 1 week. with what she ate the week before she started if she was OP all week he would've lost more. I'm sure it killed her to tell me she can't do it but she's totally blaming the diet. And now all of the sudden her mom and mother in law both told her it's too restrictive and I'm going to gain it all back. People saying things like that will only make me want to keep it off that much more. She even went as far to say to me, "I'm already a trophy wife anyway." Which made everyone who heard it choke. She is far from it. I was secretly hoping this would fall through for her because she is a pretty awful person. I know that's not nice but I don't know how else to say it. A part of me knew it wouldn't last but a part of me thought maybe she'd want to prove me wrong. Thanks for letting me write a novel. Nobody else wold get it.

Your co-worker sounds dysfunctional. She sound like she is never pleased and tried to blame you for her failures. I hope you have some nice supportive other people at work!

Well back from wi 27, not been a real successful month, I was down 1 lb so I will take it. My coach and I discussed it. We ran the machine twice that measures your bmi the first time it was 34 the second 21 (such a big difference how can that be) I don't think I really trust it. So we are trying to jump start my body again, so I am going to Phase 2 tomorrow for a week. I will let you know how it goes. Have a great night and stay OP it is so worth it.

I can totally relate to the crazy, jealous co-worker situation! I have a co-worker who was really supportive when I first started losing. Now she doesn't hardly speak to me. She has tried losing weight for years. After WW WI she would celebrate with a Big Mac! Then she tried some 24 day something or other, and she works out with a personal trainer. But she also drinks like a fish every weekend and lots of fast food.

We don't need toxic people like this. We're stuck with them at work, but we can learn to tune them out.

I met a fellow at the convention in Vegas who had already lost 40 pounds on Sensa and swears it works. He only has about 30 more to do. Sad thing is that he's still eating crap - less crap, but still crap. Since we were being fed all meals, choices were limited and I did have a little fruit one morning. He was sitting next to me with his egg and cheese stuffed croissants and his pastries. Suddenly, I felt waaaay less guilty about the fruit. :)

I had my Monday Weigh in. I am down another 2.8 pounds. I have hit 207 pounds. Down 36.4 pounds thus far on my journey. Tonight was an a great conversation with my coach. She said she thinks I should consider phasing off in 20 more pounds. She thinks I have a build that at much smaller than 170 I'd look too thin. I told her not to write it off yet and that I'd let her know when I was ready to phase off. But I think I am comfortable with 170-180. I guess I'll know when I get there. But by my calculations I should be phased off for Thanksgiving.

Next week I go on vacation I decided to weigh in the day I get back which is Friday instead of Monday. While on vacation I plan to stay pretty much OP. I am taking my packets with me but planning to have the lean protein for lunch and dinner on the trip rather than just veggies for lunch with a packet. My real obsticle is going to be Friday evening. I am meeting up with my college friends for the weekend. I am very excited about this.

Happy end of Monday all.

We are going camping so I will mostly do drinks, shakes, pudding and bring easy veggies to just cut up and eat. Spinach salad with grilled chicken. I think it will be fine. Lots of drinkers going so that will be annoying if they keep asking me if I want a drink but I will keep saying no thanks :).
