Metamucel?

Before IP I took metamucel every day on the advice of my Dr. He says it's excellent for regularity of course and also documented to reduce cholestrol. I dont have C problems even though on IP but would like to start on metamucel again daily. I have a sugar free brand. Ive been on IP 2 weeks and have lost 11 pounds so thought I'd reintroduce now and see how it goes. Has anyone else used metamucel while on IP and if so did you find it affected your rate of weight loss at all?

My dad took it while he was on IP and he had no problem getting to his goal weight. It did not affect his losses.
