Question Phase I: Cheese instead of coffee milk?

I've seen tantalizing mentions of people subbing 1oz cheese for their 1oz allowed milk in coffee/tea.

Is this allowed? I'd rather skip the whole thing than slow my already slow loss any further. I didn't use milk prior to IP, so I don't miss it. I used almond milk, but the BF got the rest of it when I started.

If there is a "cheese" available to use, what is it?

I'm looking for something that will melt in order to try making a pizza crust from riced cauliflower and cheese.

I have read that some people have 1 oz of low fat cheese. I get the vegetarian cheese and use that. It comes in slices just like regular cheese. It is in the produce section with the tofu stuff. Its called "veggie slices"

I'm familiar w/ that, it does have casein ... I'll check the ingredients again.

Does it melt like regular cheese?

Wow, veggie cheese I'll have to try that. But only if it doesn't slow down my loss!
