Congratulations! Sleep when baby sleeps -- it's important and won't impede your weight loss.

AGREED!!....sleep when you can, babies are a lot of work! I think its better to get too much sleep than not enough that is for sure!

There are recent studies that are showing the importance of proper sleep and weight loss....besides that, you are a new mom so sleep, sleep, sleep when youi can!

Sleep is important. I have noticed that on weeks I do not get as much sleep that I do not lose as well. I have an office job and sit a lot. But outside of work I am very active and if I don't get enough rest my weigh loss tends to slow down. So I say sleep when you can.

Get some rest, mama. How old is your baby?

He is going on 4 months.. I gained 60lbs during my pregnancy and was depressed as helk.. but losing it feels great and its jsut another life experience for me. He was a big big baby (11lbs) the weigth jsut kept going up and up every week I couldnt stop it!!

That is a big baby! A big amount of my weight gain was through pregnancies and postpartum depression. I nursed for 15 months, but wasn't one of those women who loses weight through breastfeeding.

I initially lost about 25 lbs just from upping protein and walking with my baby, but other things sort of took over and I stopped taking care of myself.

Keep up the good work!
