Bitter Taste
 

Has anyone else experienced a bitter taste even when drinking plain water? My coach says it's from being in ketosis but I thought ketosis was a sweet taste. Curious to see what anyone has to say.

I had that one time, a very metalic taste in my mouth, I thought something was wrong with the water but everyone else said it was fine. I wasn't dieting at the time. My doctor said it was hormonal and would go away which it did.

I have it too. Water tastes kind of funny. It seems to come and go though.

i personally always think water tastes grose..like minerals..too many minerals..like a lead taste..metallic as some say..but especially when on a diet..its just grose..

I felt that once, and thought it was the water of the new apartment we just rented, but no, it was me.
