I sure hope not. It's pretty low in calories and carbs

When I have used alternatives in the past, I use this as my rule of thumb: Under 10 carbs- unrestricted, Over 10 carbs- restricted

I doubt that is the official way, and I am sure calories and fat are really important too, but that was just my personal way to quickly categorize.

Nikkib, when you use oatmeal you also have a restricted food that day? A bar or some other item from restricted list?

No. I do not use restricted items at all. I don't feel I need them either. If I want something sweet I will have the health smart hot chocolate (made with sucralose) as my snack. I had a restricted one time and knew it was not a good idea for me. It makes my cravings all crazy. I am better off staying away from them.
