Welcome blu----- Where in AL are ya? Put that scale in the trunk of your car so you don't see it or have someone hide it from you. The scale puts too much stress on the fluctuations that happen from day to day with our bodies. Weigh yourself ONLY on WI days so that way you are surprised when you see the numbers. Just stick to the program 100% and you are going to lose weight and inches!

Hello All
Just joined this Forum after I read all the great stories and tips. I started my Ideal Protein Plan at 365 pounds. I have so far lost 52 pounds and have about 93 to go. I am loving the diet so far, the only friend I have on the diet lives far away, we talk lots and try to keep each other encouraged but he is almost done. I am looking forwards to hearing your stories and getting to know all of you.

My coach was asking me what the plan was the other day regarding my weight loss. She wanted to know if I was going to stay on program and lose all the weight at once or phase out at some point and maintain for a while and give my body a break. I told her I'd give it some thought and get back to her.

What are you all doing?

I'm losing it all at once, no breaks and no procrastination. I think if i stopped in the middle i'd just gain it back. Once I get to my goal I'll feel too accomplished and confident and never want to go back, plus I'm impatient and wouldn't want to wait any longer than I have to!

I am going for the gusto....all or nothing!....I know it will slow down eventually but its too easy not to just do it all at once. I don't find the program difficult so I am sticking to it til the end which I am hoping will be ummmm Jan but if it takes longer it takes longer, as long as I am losing it doesn't matter how long it takes me

wuv you truly are an inspiration. I am in Northern Alabama, Huntsville area. I really should have my husband lock up the scale and throw away the key.

I would suggest it HIGHLY! you don't need the stress of those numbers everyday. I am sure you have enough stress in your life without that. I look to my WI days as a surprise to see what I have done. I can feel the changes in my body but never know the exact amount until I go WI then it sets my day off in a good way

Wuv, you and your posts ROCK! I completely agree with you. Save the daily, home weigh-ins for Maintenance! Until then, it just messes with you.

I plan to stick with it for 1 year and then maintain. Monthly weight in and follows are free where I go once you decide to stop. That might help me keep it off.

want to lose 135lbs and I have 60lbs gone as of yesterday. I know once i get to my goal I will want to go smaller but when I started 135lbs to lose sounded a lot better than 200lbs which is probably what I will end up losing. I started April 27th. Follow the program to a "T" and you will do fine. Drink lots of water and make sure you eat your veggies .

Wuv2bloved, that's amazing how well you are doing It inspires me to go on with my weight battle.

I have 100-110 pounds to lose, I lost 30 so far, still a long way to go but when I read about other people having a big amount of weight and they did it, it encourages me always.

Thank you.
