I am starting day 3 of the Athletic Protocol but I am challenging myself to stay off of the scale, so I won't really know until Wed. how it worked ;)

It's my second week OP. My first week OP I was added 1 bar before my shorter runs (4-5 miles) and a bar before and a shake after my long run (11 miles). At WI #1, I was down 1 lb. This week I told myself to stay off the scale as well, but I was feeling pretty good with the running so i was curious :^: We'll see how it goes on Monday.

Thanks! I'm going to start working out now that I am close to my goal. It's helpful to know which packets to add and how long after working out to drink them.

I just posted the PROTOCOL sheet, however, I haven't been able to make it a sticky!? Help??

Right now I am at 4 packets and he wants to see if working out and adding more protein will help or hinder my losses. I am pretty much the guinea pig at the office.

I will definitely keep you posted on how this works out.

Jennydoodle, that sounds about right! Looks like I will be adding 2 packets for now until I phase off later when I get into heavier miles per week and longer runs and will need to add the complex carbs.

Let me know how your "experiment" goes.

It's 5 miles today (uggh, in this grueling heat, will probably have to wait until a little later). Will see how I feel.

Good fr you! Hope you see my post and attachment! Keep up the good work!:carrot:

Hello everyone, hope it's not overkill but I wanted to mention it again here since I haven't responded to all of you...I posted the actual IP Athlete Protocol I got from my coach but don't know how to make it a sticky.

If you are interested in getting it directly via email, please send me a private message with your email address and I will be happy to send it to you!

Thanks for posting the sheet. I can certainly say I feel MUCH better on the 5 packets than I did on the 4, without question. Even my workouts feel so much better.

Waterbaby- good to know it is your 2nd week. I am hoping for something closer to the 3-7# average this week! :)
