Looking for a buddy
I'd love to find a few buddies to help me and let me help them, how do I go about doing this and making a good match?

Lol we are all your buddies! But what I would think would be a good match is someone who is silimar to you in how much weight you need to lose, and where in the program you are so you could root eachother on and make sure eachother stays on task. Come to think of it, I have about 32.8 lbs to lose now, and I have been on IP for a week on Friday, so we have very similar stats! I'LL be your buddy! Haha ;)

Aw I'll be your buddy too! I am right about where you are, and our goals are similar too. We can keep each other accountable and complain on bad days. :hug:

I'm just starting week 4 and would like a buddy that started around the same time with the same amount to lose if there's someone out there! Of course you are all my buddies - really appreciate these message boards. No one in my world understands what I'm doing.

I'll have to join you ladies on FB. Josey and I are at similar weights now but I have a bit more to lose but know that I need all of the support that i can get. I'm great at starting diets and finding all kinds of odd ones (my friends call them psycho diets) but I am not so great at sticking to them. I have committed to sticking to this one.

Hey girls! I am always up for offering support and advice. I think we all go through essentially the same struggles but in a different way. My struggles are the weekends, but they are getting better. I always try to offer up what works for me or doesn't or if I am trying something different on any given week. I am the guinea pig for my doctors office, and I workout, so sometimes my protocol is a little bit different.
This week, for example, my doc wants me to do 5 packets a day on days I workout. I did this a couple of days last week, just b/c I was pretty hungry on those days, and I had a pretty good WI. So he wants to see what happens if I do 5 on most days. Could mean I will have a nice big whoosh, or could be a complete dud. But that is the price to pay for being the test study for them. :) |
Would love to join the group as well - finishing Day 3 and ready for bed. Feeling so-so but knowing it will get better certainly helps! :hug:
