Scale didnt budge :(

  • Okay, so ive been doing 4 packets a day plus my 1 protein meal plus 4 cups of veggies except for yesterday..yesterday i could only seem to eat 2 cups. Aanyway, I was doing good all week..didnt cheat once...Drank my 3 litres of water every day and managed to get a light walk in. I weigh myself every morning and every morning the scale went down..except for today! It didnt budge! I dont get it? If im doing the diet right and im losing every day how come if all of the sudden it stops??? Is it going to stop for awhile? Did this happen to any of you on your 7th day??? I have lots to lose, so i was thinking that maybe it would go down every day...

    Also, do you think its because im having one restricted a day? Im doing the pretzels once a day for a snack..so..its more like 3 packs and 1 restricted a day..should i just cut the restricted out???
  • No one loses every day. All of us stay the same or go up some days. There will be many, many days that the scale won't do whatyou want it to. Be prepared for that.
    Honestly, if not seeing the scale move- for reasons that no one can determine- is going to freak you out, avoid weighing every day. Don't change anything, just be patient. Have someone hide the scale if necessary.

  • The same thing happened to me. The first week the scale moved everyday, now it goes down in clumps. It will stay the same for days, and then all the sudden, I will be down a pound. DO NOT worry about it. I found that I need to keep myself off of the scale b/c it would bother me. Now I am in a rhythm and just WI here and there to keep things in check. The best piece of advice is to just stick to the program and the weight loss with follow.

    Also, what are these pretzles???
  • I wouldn't worry about it. I never lose every day. Like Jennydoodle said, I tend to lose in clumps. Try to stay away from the scale if it is going to send you into a panic when you don't lose every day.

    I would also love to know about the pretzels. Unless they are a food my clinic doesn't have yet, I thought pretzels were a complete no-no.
    On a side note, I was told to do only 3 packets and my meal a day. Are you on a alternative plan?
  • it could be because you ate pretzels....try not to eat the pretzels for a week and you can see the changes...
  • Don't be obsessed with the scale.. it will really mess up your mood for the day. I too have had the scale stall, only to be suprised a few day's later it dropped greatly!!! Jan

  • sorry..i wasnt completely clear..im using alternative products from pr0ti-diet that are similiar in compatability to the IP products..they are made from soy isolate powder..trust me..they arent your ordinary pretzel..its like you with your cheese curls or salt and vinigar ridges..

    I heard that if your over 250 pounds you should be doing 4 packets a day and 1 protein meal..ive heard this numerous times from people who are over 250 pounds being told this by there coach... So im doing that..

    cause i do..

    breaky: pudding
    lunch: soup
    snack: pretzels
    Dinner: protein meal
    Snack before bed: pudding or grape drink.
  • Nobody loses every single day. I'd say at least cut back to 2 times per week, or you'll drive yourself completely nuts.
