Big D - should I stop?

I've been on IP for about 14 weeks now. For several weeks I've been having a real problem with diarrhea. I can't remember my last 'solid' day and I'm thinking maybe I should take a break from IP and just go south beach or something. Anyone have any thoughts?

If you are taking the calcium magnesium reduce the amount. This is a normal side effect.

Ip works great. I would not give it up until I reached my goal weight if I were you!

I wish I had that problem! Mine is the opposite. If you want to reach your goal weight, think about taking an Imodium AD once a day. I would not stop either.

You could easily develop electrolyte imbalance with chronic diarrhea on a diet that is already naturally diuretic. You are right to be concerned. I would ask your doctor and make modifications as needed.
