  • Since I've browsed without finding anything, I thought I'd see who was up for a July Challenge..
For myself I'm setting the bar kind of low, 10 lbs.. I've got my anniversary July 9th, and a week long vacation mid July.. I'm committing myself to staying 100% protocol, as I can make drinks that seem like cheats, but stay true to program and I can definatley eat protocol friendly foods for all my meals!

    Who's willing to join me??
  • I would like to join although I'm not doing IP really. I'm doing it without doing it if that makes sense. I'd like to lose 15 pounds in July.
  • I'd like to lose 15 lbs in July so I'll join the challenge
  • Count me in.
I would like to take up this challenge and lose the lucky thirteen pounds, counting the days from tomorrow to July 31. That comes out to be fully five weeks. Even though I have two weeks of vacation during the duration of this challenge, I will stay true to the Protocol.
Thirteen pounds lighter by July 31!

Welcome to the challenge!! My week of vacation scares me!! We will be at the lake, so lots of grilling and snacks will be around.. Plus I have no internet at the lake place, so I won't have my 3 fat chicks family for daily support!!! UGH!! Wishing you luck!!
  • I would like to join in. My goal is to be out of the 150's by the end of July. It will definitely be a challenge as we will be having company and I will be doing some traveling. But I am going to stay OP and work on getting to 149.9 by July 31.

So what is involved? What do we have to do?
  • We will be in the "zone"!!

Lots of peaceful water and no internet sound like a perfect set-up for the paradise within. I hope you enter the zone of peace.

Mine involves lots of flying and driving. I only hope that I keep my sanity throughout the ons and offs, ins and outs.

Anyway, let's start it with a high five and end it with another.
  • I would love to join as well.
I've only had one weigh in, which I know is usually the best, so I"m not really sure how my body will respond from this point forward, but ideally I would like to be 155 by the end of July.

As jennydoodle asked, what exacty is involved?
  • Secretly in admiration of your approach

I know you will make it. I have been reading your posts, admiring how methodical and positive your approach has been.

I will be 163 pounds by July 31!! That puts my BMI just below "obese."
July shall see my exodus from "obese."

By the way, what is the prize of this challenge?
  • Quote: Welcome to the July challenge!! Are you doing IP with Alternatives??
Yeah, kinda. I am not buying online or anything I'm using Atkins protein products with IP's plan.

    Welcome!!

Ideally, a ticker or weekly posts with your weigh in losses. However you want to track it though!

OHHH, I didn't think about a prize.. Maybe we can ask everyone involved for suggestions!!!
Good luck getting that BMI down!!! I can't wait to have my checked tomorrow at weigh in!

Simply post back here with your weigh in results, add a ticker, whatever strikes your fancy!! Here's to 155!!!

If I may, I've found researching the alternative drinks and products that Atkins are much higher in nutritional values than IP.. EAS advantage drinks are a good match for alternative drinks and Lindora, Nashua Nutrition as well as new life style diet all have comparable values! But either way, I wish you luck!!!

I have heard that before. I think since that's what my friend used and it worked well for her, I will stick with the Atkins ones but if I stall I will surely look into others.
