I am reporting my progress and result of July Challenge.
On July 1, I was 175.4.
Today, August 1, I am 165.4.
My original goal was 163.
Initially, I thought 13 pounds would be piece of cake considering my height (5.2 1/2) and weight (175). Losing three pounds a week seemed definitely doable.
Yet, for three weeks, I lost only three pounds all put together. There was a funeral and a summer vacation and I rationalized that if I am careful with carbs per se, a couple of strips of bacon a day would not kick me off ketosis. Sorely wrong was I.
In sum, today I am 165.4 (BMI 30.4), a pound lighter than my 5'8'' hubby--a bittersweet NSV.
All said and done, here I do declare: I am ready to start my August Challenge: 153!
