I just replied to your post on the daily thread. Sorry I missed this one!

I order from Nashua a couple of times a month. My shipment has always arrives within 5-7 days. I have not been caught up for duty yet. I don't know how duty really works, I've researched and it seems that all information is purposely vague. My logic says that the chances are greater to be dinged for duty on larger $$ purchases, so I keep my orders under $100 before shipping. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
I'm sure this didn't really help with your question, but maybe someone has more information about duty. Aside from duty, you can be very confident about ordering from Nashua- they're great!

I order from Nashua and like pp I receive my order between 5 & 7 days. I've never had a problem with customs!

I have also ordered from Nashua and I had no issues. There usually isn't any GST of Food items but I thought I would copy this from the website just so you know that may be charged Duty or HST...

The item’s value in Canadian dollars
Under the provisions of the Postal Imports Remission Order, if someone mails you an item worth CAN$20 or less, you don’t have to pay duty or taxes on the item. If the item is worth more than CAN$20, you must pay the applicable duty, the GST or HST, and any PST on the item’s full value.

Hope this helps.

I got dinged by customs on my last nashua order, but it was $175 worth of product and I only paid $12 duty on it. It was stuck in customs for a little bit, but I did receive it within 2 weeks of ordering it. Not bad IMHO.

I'm also thinking about ordering from Nashua. How much is shipping usually? Have you ever ordered chocolate products that have melted?
Thanks a bunch!

I have only started ordering and it was $20.00 for shipping $40.00 worth of product. My chocolate didn't melt. It did come fairly fast.

I'm not sure where you are all located, BUT I just found a place in Burlington Weight Management BLVD that sells the protidiet products. They are located at Walkers line and Dundas. A box of soup is about $14..... He says they carry the entire line... soup, bars, breakfast etc.. I'm going to go on Sat and check out the store That is exciting news for me - very close to my house

14$ is expensive ...i only paid 10.95$ ordering online for soup..and for all the other products..I would re-consider..your going to end up paying more because the store has to price the product higher then what they get it at wholesale..eekk!

Yes, but that is in american funds & you're paying shipping on it. $14 is cdn funds plus hst but No shipping. I just like the convience that I can pick up one or two boxes and not feel like I need to order a ton of food to make it worth the shipping costs.... I'm in Milton, so burlington is VERY close to me.

I've haven't had anything that I didn't like so far. My favourite are the peanut butter protien bars & the bacon and cheese omelet YUM!
