Hello everyone!
Looks like everyone is doing great!
I had WI Friday and lost another 2.7lbs for a total of 48lbs. Only 2 more pounds until I'm at my pre-Hawaii weight! Exciting
I've been feeling crappy lately - icky stomach. Last night I went to bed at 2am and at 5am woke up with hives all over my body and my throat was getting constricted. I took 50mg of Benadryl and even used my Ventolin which helped but I have NO idea where that came from! Nothing is different or changed. Same nightly routine. Very, very odd.
Well I'm off, homework is calling my name. Hope everyone has a good day! Take care

Has anyone heard of or tried White Cheddar Cheese Ridges? I was googling to see the ingredients of the soy patty. Came across a facebook page for a clinic in Mesa, AZ. They had posted that the new White Cheddar Cheese Ridges were now available. They are apparently restricted.

Brought some home last week but haven't tried them yet. Someone said they weren't as good as the SW Puffs - I'll have to try them & let you know.

I got sidetracked and off my happy little IP schedule this week. I decided that rather than get down on myself for it I am going to look into ways I can prevent the same reaction going forward. It has been a rollercoaster of a week emotionally-between pets, tornadoes and work. Ugh! But... Knowing how disappointed I feel by getting off plan motivates me to have a backup plan for the next time chaos hits! A stash of IP treats in the car with a bottle of water to mix, and maybe even my bathing suit as well so I can make myself go to the gym and swim to relieve stress. And the bathing suit would be a good reminder as to why it's not worth the cheat! So... I'm going to get over it, and move forward! Sorry for the rant... but needed to vent...thanks!

Saw them at the clinic yesterday. Both my coach and the clinic receptionist said they were a little hard, and neither one liked the intensity of the white cheddar flavor. My coach said you could smell the flavoring as soon as you opened the package, and that there was a coating that stayed on the fingers. Then someone else who works there said they really liked them. Think I'll pass since I never have liked the white cheddar flavor non-IP foods, and don't like to eat overly crispy snacks. And yes, they are restricted.
Side note: Interestingly enough, the clinic still has the dark chocolate pudding that I read earlier this week is discontinued. Apparently they are good when mixed with the milk chocolate pudding. My coach was told that they are considering discontinuing the dark chocolate in favor of the milk chocolate.

Hey all, happy Saturday! It's my second weekend OP and it's rough. I have a hard time getting my water in, and when we went out to eat last night I broke down and had diet coke rather than water. I might have to stop going out to eat with my parents all the time - it's all they ever do it seems - just so I can be sure I'll get my veggies in and WON'T cave to the soda.
Thanks to those of you who mentioned probiotics; I've had a yicky tummy since I've started so I might give those a try.
Here's to a much better Sunday and staying in ketosis! And congrats to all on the weight losses and maintenances this week!

I haven't heard of those, but I heard from the clinic that are coming out with a chocolate PB bar soon. Has anyone seen these yet?

I didn't go out much the first month or so. I thought it would make it easier on me to stay away from temptations. I go out more now, It get's easier to say no!

Help!! I have lost 30 pounds and am supposed to be starting Phase 3 but I am scared!! The clinic handed me paperwork but didn't explain anything and all the information is so overwhelming because it has been so easy. Can you please give me some really good ideas for breakfast so I can just buy the recommended items and continue on. I don't drink coffee (gave up Diet Coke 5 months ago), don't like yogurt and don't eat ham/pork items. The woman said that I shouldn't have the same thing everyday so my body can adjust to having carbs? She said I could have Cheerios, toast, English Muffins, etc. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!!

I got some last week, they're VERY crunchy, a bit hard, but I enjoyed them

Wow, I have been reading the life after phase 1 the second sequel thread, and I don't know if I should be excited or worried. It seems so many people have had mixed reactions to Phase 4 especially... I am sure I will be fine after I get the hang of it, thank goodness I still have awhile until I get to phase 4, I will need the time to prepare!

I was so craving the taste of Cheesits a week ago... and lo and behold there are the new White Cheddar Cheese Ridges. I've found a new favorite food! I love the hardy crispness... They are not puffs at all. I love the deeply cheddar flavor. Just what I needed.
Took two weeks off for our daughter's wedding in Hawaii and gained three pounds (ate and drank any and everything my heart desired - my heart desires have changed WOW) and ONLY gained three pounds. Third day back home had re-lost those and am still moving down.
I am hungrier this week (2nd week home) than I've been in a long time. Puzzled by this and a little saddened. I'm hanging in there though and hoping to see the scale continue down down down. 42 down but still have 28 more to go. Sigh... Smile...

I love this way of eating, to be honest. It's when I think a cocktail, glass of wine or dessert will somehow make me feel better, I start to lose control. One glass of wine leads to two, and a little slice of cake can be the start of something much more decadent. So, when I stay on program, life itself is sweet.
I like reading all the posts and hope my experience with IP can benefit others and vice versa. I've gone from 175 to 163 in four weeks, and think I'd like to see what 150 looks like.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Welcome back! Like you I love eating this way and feel like I finally have control of food instead of the other way around. I love the energy I have. Thank you for sharing your experience and commitment. Life is sweet.
