So Coach is putting me on phase 2 this week to just experiment and see if I do better with weight loss on phase 2. I am also going to start exercising Monday, just toning. Hopefully this will work!
Hope everyone has a great holiday!
:)

I just want to give you a couple words of encouragement. PLEASE don't get down about averaging 3.5 lbs per week (including a week with TOM)! You are doing a great job. Check out the tickers of the folks who put their WI numbers week by week and you'll see that there aren't many people who lose the same amount every week. And right around weeks 5 and 6 many people experience stalls. It doesn't look like you've stalled at all!

Good luck and hang in there. 3.5 lbs per week is FANTASTIC!

I'm also encouraged by all of you making it to onederland. I have a long way to go, but I hope to make it!

Stay strong...with is worth it. Just think about how wonderful you will feel and how great you will look!!!!!!! If you haven't already spend some time looking at peoples before and after pic for inspiration and tell yourself that is going to be me...YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!:carrot:

I have lost and gained - and lost and gained - and lost and gained... so many times before and never really had a community of support along the way. Before, I had a "diet coach" who just wanted my money, and now I have a caring person at the clinic that I go to who has been through this herself and actually created her own tip sheet for each of her IP'ers. She also shows her own before and after photo, and I feel really confident that she can help me along the way.

I have a roommate who helps with the cooking and shopping, and of course I have friends and coworkers who understand that I am eating healthier and don't push me to join in group lunches and parties anymore. Knowing that I have support online anytime, everyday means that once I get closer to my goal, I know that I won't be alone! I won't go back to my old ways for many, many reasons - but most of all, because I know that I can't keep bouncing around my weight if I want to stay healthy and fit.

Here's to week 4 and another 4 pounds lost!

It is a beautiful Sunday here in Alberta. It is so easy to feel happy when the sun is shining. I'm excited for Tuesday's WI- it makes the week of being strict with myself on program so much more rewarding when I see the numbers go down. It will also be my first time being measured since beginning my IP journey and while I know there will be a definite difference as I can see it in the fit of my clothes it will be encouraging to see the actual numbers!
I would like to share an absolutely delicious tea that I just came across- for those living in Canada- PC brand Chai Chocolate is spicy and sweet and tastes exactly like it sounds, so yummy!!
Have a happy OP day everyone! :D

Funny...you and Susie answered my question at the same time and answered the same way basically. Thanks for letting me know. ;)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday!

I'm sure all of those people who are flooding right now would love to send you some water! We're kind of far North for it to get it there, unfortunately ;)

Happy Memorial Day.....

Hi everyone,

Happy Memorial Day to all the American IP'ers. Don't forget to take some time to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. God Bless America.

I'm officially on Phase 4 - somewhat modified...I'm doing great. Still maintaining under 130 goal weight. I feel terrific even though my last blood work up showed a 'sluggish thyroid level' The doc upped my synthyroid level...so I should have even more energy. I've been getting lots of exercise redoing my yard, lots of heavy muscle building labor. I can't wait for the fun part which won't be until fall....then I hope I can plant my shade perennial garden....hosta, fern, bleeding heart....oh, I can't wait. How much is too much exercise?

Hello!

Hi Everyone,

I am so glad that I found this forum!! DH and I just started IP and are on day 4. The 2nd and 3rd days were rough but I made it through. I had lots of nausea and terrible headaches but it seems that is behind me. I am very tired still but from what I've read on here, that will go away soon as well. I just have to say that after reading many of your stories and just looking at your tickers and how much you all have lost so far makes me feel very hopeful! I can't wait until I can post my ticker and have it say that I've lost weight!!! :carrot:

Good evening everyone!

My name is Ana and I'm starting IP tomorrow for the second time. I started back in November 2010 and I was very happy with the results I got. I was 173 pounds and went all the way to 135 in 14 weeks. I went through all the phases and I gained 5 pounds while on phase 4 ending at 140 which was over my goal but a very comforatble weight. The hardest part has been keeping the weight off and sticking to phase 4 for life. I did fairly well in March and April, but May has been a challenge. I'm currenlty at 156 and I feel it's time to come back. This time I'm setting my goal at 130. One thing that bothers me is the hanging skin under my arms and the lack of muscle tone. I hardly exercise while doing IP. This time I'm plan to exercise and focus on following Phase 1 100% until I reach my goal. I'm looking forward to getting to know the new people doing IP and sharing our success.

Have you tried it with DaVinci's sugar free eggnog syrup.... oh it is so good. They also have a vanila chai, but I really like the chocolate one.

Welcome all newbies and secondtimers, it is great to see you. Keep it simple.
