Default SUPER DUPER bummed. :(

I am completely bummed and need a pick me up. I lost 4 lbs in week one of IP, just got weighed today for week two and I lost NOTHING!!! my weight was exactly the same as week one to the .6!!!! unbelievable. It actually brought a tear to my eye!! I have been completely following the protocol and if nothing else my calories have decreased greatly!! I'm losing hope in this diet... I'll have one more perfect week of dieting and decide what to do this friday when I get weighed in.

ugh. frustrating.

I did that in the second, and 4th week, well actually the second week I lost 1 pound. BUT on the other hand I lost inches and that to me means just as much. If you follow the protocol, you will lose weight. If you look at other's weight loss, you will find that people don't lose weight at the same pace. Don't be discouraged, keep at it and it will work!

Look at my losses below in my signature, you'll see that I too had no loss the second week yet am still averaging approx. 4 lbs per week. This program works, trust it.

The same thing happened to me at my 4th WI. It IS very discouraging, but I can almost guarantee next week will be better. Stick with it.

Stick with it! I know everyone keeps telling you this... seriously, this week I had a 1 pound weight loss it is also TOM, but it happens, our bodies are burning the stored fat so quick, sometimes it takes a break.(I know this isn't the technical term, but you get what Im saying) Follow protocol to the T, you will see results. Did you lose any inches? Also maybe try doing a week of boot camp (eating only non-restricteds)??? Are you having a daily BM??
Keep your head! You will see results!

Don't get discouraged - the big weight loss some people get is actually water weight, not fat. Fat loss is healthiest at 2 pounds per week. Don't give up!

My ticker shows regular loss, but I have had a plateau. My second w/i was actually at 2 1/2 weeks...I do weigh at home...and have been at the same for 5 days straight. This week I switched to no restricted foods to see if that will get the weight loss again.

Don't be discouraged. You may have gained muscle, or had an extra glass of water or something just before your WI. It's normal to be exact to the tenth of the pound for days on end, and then drop 2 pounds in a day. As I understand it, your body replaces fat with water as it goes along, and then releases it all at once.

Next week's WI will be all the more dramatic! You WILL lose weight on this diet. Hang in there.

I am also pretty bumbed this week, I dont weigh in officially until Thursday but on my scale this morning I am up 1 pound and have NOT cheated! This is my first week on phase 2. I do run 2-3 miles 3-4x week so maybe I need to back this down, ?burning to many calories?? Anyone else have this problem?

I've had weight fluctuate from day to day at various points. It's normal, mostly based on your water levels. Could also be due to building muscle given how much exercise you're doing. Don't be alarmed, just keep an eye on the 'low water mark'. That pound will probably be gone tomorrow morning. :-)
