Chocolate Pancake/Muffin Mix

Hey there,
I was going to try the chocolate pancake/muffin mix, but I was wondering the nutritional content since I just bought the package which doesn't have it on. It's a Canadian product so might be different values then the States. Thanks all! And Happy weekend!

hi! The chocolate muffins are a favorite of mine...tried three times to make the pancake and failed miserably, finally followed the suggestion of making mini-muffins...what a difference! They are a restricted, so I only have them once a week, usually for Sunday breakfast.

Hi puddleduck! Love the name ;) I love mini-muffins, so I think I'm going to test out that method. Making it in about an hour. Here's hoping my lack of baking skills aren't put to the test and I burn them! lol!

According to my box (and the IP nutritional fact sheet) they have 14 carbs.;)

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure about the fitness pal number. I thought the US and Canadian packets might be slightly different, but 22 carbs was a little high. 14 or 15 makes more sense for a restricted (but not restricted to once a week) item. Made the mini muffins and they were chocolately and not too bad! I enjoyed licking out the batter bowl too ;)

I love the chocolate muffins as well (much better than the pancake version, in my opinion). I just put the batter into a cup and microwave it for about 45 seconds. I add a teaspoon of WF chocolate spread on the top and eat if from the cup with a spoon. Delicious!

I will have to try the microwave version next time! And with chocolate spread on top how can that not be yummy! ;)

I've never made the muffins, I've always just made the pancakes. I never had a problem with it. I just pour it in a small nonstick skillet all at once, so it's one big pancake, leave it there for a while until it's easier to scoop up with a spatula, flip it, leave it a little while longer, and enjoy. It takes a little while, and the inside always is a little doughy, but it tastes great with WF syrups.

I'll have to try the muffin in a cup idea though; sounds easy and quick!
