Miracle Noodle products
I swear I saw some posts about this stuff, but searching the forum only turned up threads from 2009 for me.
I might give it a try, being fully aware of the odd texture. :?: Amazon is offering an extra 15% off with code (see the product page). For those that tried and liked, which item did you prefer, or dislike the least? :D |

I use them in the veggie chili. I don't think the texture is bad, you just need to rinse them really really well. Next, pat them dry before adding them to chili or whatever you plan on using them with.

Speaking of Bragg's, Amazon had the six-pack of spray bottles for $7.34 yesterday. Still in stock today.

I've never tried Miracle but I use House Foods Shirataki ... the texture of those gets so much better once you toss them in a pan on medium-high for a few minutes!

I also buy, use and LOVE the House Foods Shiritaki. I pay about $1.29 a sack for them at my local market (Sprouts) or else get them at the asian grocery store.
I like them in all sorts of dishes and even just with sauce. I like chicken broth mixed with melted fat-free cream cheese on top. I sautee julienned red peppers and tiny bits of diced ham together and put it over the top. |
