For my veggies, I cut up and measure the first time, then, can pretty much eyeball it after that. And, I measure before I cook. I'd say a 4-5 inch wide turnip is about 1 cup. Hope that helps. I like the turnip fries, I've never tried them mashed but I bet they are good too! |
