Hi Becky! You are right about Phase 1 being really easy. 3 packets per day plus dinner. Besides that, it's just cutting up veggies really. I love that it's all figured out for us and we don't have to think about it. I always eat raw veggies for lunch because it's the fastest pre-time for veggies. I am so excited for you! You have 7 children, wow! Losing weight will help you take care of you, and in turn will help you give your best self to your family. Welcome!

Reposting these from yesterday. I found these but havne't tried them yet:

Products:
http://www.yamamotoyama.com/soywrapper_2.html

Nutrition facts:
http://www.yamamotoyama.com/soywrapper_facts.html

Recipes:
http://www.yamamotoyama.com/recipes.html

I plan to experiment with a few things:

1) Substitute for rice paper in a fresh Vietanamese spring roll type recipe like the following where you don't bake them.
http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/vietna...ls/Detail.aspx

2) Moo-shu chicken wrappers.

3) Spring roll wrappers (baked).

I will experiment and let everyone know how they turn out.

that is good, I figure the food and temptations are going to be there always anyway why not have it around. I feel that I can do this so I bought chocolates for the office it sits on the end of my desk and it doesn't bother me. I bake for work and I still enjoy people say that the baking is really good, but I don't need to sample it. I guess that is the big thing.... I don't NEED the junk food. and I feel better because of it.

Welcome! You Will find so much support on these boards so visit often! And congrats for making a great decision with this program, it really works!

You'll be ok, i too have taken mine late and even a few times not at all so don't sweat it. Let us know how your weigh in goes!

Awesome!

Sitting here at the hospital with my little man...he needs to have bloodwork and see a specialist about his horrible bloody noses. Wish us luck as he has autism and that makes everything just a bit more stressful.

Weigh in number 9 for me tomorrow morning and the first one after a week on phase 2....should be interesting. I will begin phase 3 after the weigh in and let me tell you how nervous and excited I am about it. Certainly looking forward to breakfast lol.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day.
my thoughts are with you and your little guy that has to be hard on both of you. Have a great WI today and I am curious about all the phases so keep us advised.

That is just great. You are looking very slim, you are my role model so keep it up I can't wait.
Have a great Easter weekend and happy shopping. So has your feelings for shopping changed? I use to hate shopping, wondering if that will change when I am able to fit into "normal" clothing.

Haha! Nope, cancer. At least that’s what the tattoo says.

“Good to see you! I was thinking about you today - realized you hadn't posted for a bit & hoping all is well.

Glad you got the scale, sorry the number was worse than you had hoped, but as you say, you won't see that number again! Stay strong!”

Thanks! It will get better, I know. I just love this forum. I was feeling poopy about the number and the hubs suggested I get on my “chicks forum” to feel better. Boy, was he right! Just reading about the successes of others makes me feel a lot better!

“you are going to ROCK THIS DIET! i am soooooo excited to see your progress every week. don't step on it everyday if possible. i'm bad for that too, but have decided that i'm going to put it away and only step on it on weigh in day. good luck this week. what day is your weigh in?”

Thank you so much! This is so encouraging!! WI day is Friday for now. If I get a job, it will have to move to Saturday. I feel ready for anything today! We can do this!!

Congrats JudoGirl!

I am doing better today. I did realize the Syntrax aren't a good alternative for me so I will save them for my marathon training. I will start more light exercise next week.

Good morning everyone !!
I spent some time last night looking at Nutrition labels and now I am confused !!

The Ideal Protein chocolate pudding has 110 cal, 0.5 g fat, 15 mg, cholesterol, carbs 7g, sugars 4g .

I looked at the rice cakes which are non IP and they are
35 cal, fat 0.2 g, cholesterol 0, Carbs 3, sugars 0

If i look at the two, rice cakes are the way to go for a snack. I know you are not getting your protein, but this cannot be all that bad.
I guess what I am asking is : If i eat these will I get a setback ?

TOM is rearing its ugly head soon and I guess im feeling hungry these days

Have you posted pictures? I'd love to see your gorgeous self. Take one in the dress that you are going to wear to the wedding! LOL I love seeing people dressed up. And you lost weight on your feet?!? 1/2 a size? That is really incredible. 70 pounds takes a lot of hard work and dedication to the journey. Hooray for your journey on IP and continuing journey of health and wellness.

These are not on the protocol sheet and therefore are not on program (OP). I personally would not waste my time and money eating things that are not on the program...

I think of it this way. The program is very specific. That makes it strict, but easy to follow. It works. Why mess with that? If you are hungry, have another unrestricted IP packet.
