New and many questions

Hi,

I am back on...I tried IP 1 month ago and got quite sick: stomach flu or something else, who knows...
Anyway, I am back on.
Now, does anybody have any ideas for a dip for vegetables, such as hummus or something else?
Is mustard allowed?
How does the WF mayonnaise taste?

Thanks!!!

Hummus is a no-no. The only things that are allowed are zero-zero-zero products - 0 calories, 0 carbs, 0 fat. Mustard is good. :)

I try to refrain from asking opinions of WF preferences because everyone's varies so greatly. The general consensus is, none seem to taste great on their own, but are good when mixed with things. I used the thousand island dressing yesterday and liked it. :)

Definitely check out all the stickies. There's lots of info about recipes, WF, alternative products, FAQs, supplements, etc. that are very helpful!

Ideal Protein

I haven't tried the WF veggie dips but you could start with them, also the recipes are my source when I want to try something different... roasted veg is my favorite as you can mix that up by trying different seasonings. I have had the chipotle ranch dressing and like that but it is your own tastes.. so try and if you don't like you don't have to buy again.... also Walmart has 3 new 0cal/0sug salad dressings, I use the mango vinegarette for stirfry and found it very good... now on it's own will see as I have it for my salad today.

So far Ive only tried the Ranch (BARF) and the thousand islands (MUCH BETTER)

Good luck to you this time around! I hope it will go better for you than last time!

Other than WF salad dressings and dips, I don't really have any suggestions...

Mustard and dijon mustard are allowed as far as I know.

So far, I have tried the following WF products and these are my opinions (I can't speak for anyone else but myself):

- Seafood sauce on shrimp - it was fine. A bit more bland that regular cocktail sauce;
- Ceasar salad dressing - it was okay. Doesn't really taste like ceasar but I like it;
- Balsamic salad dressing - I really like this one on my salad and as a marinade for boneless, skinless chicken breast that I later BBQ'ed.

I have been happy with them all so far and I am looking forward to trying more!

I currently live by the WF Bacon Ranch dressing, but I know every ones tastbuds are different. Untill I tried this one, I was not eating salads, only steamed veggies.

I hope this heelps, good luck
