Clothes that no longer fit?
 

Hi everyone!
I was wondering what you all were planning to do with the clothes that no longer fit you...

I have some great athletic clothing that I spent a lot of money on but no longer fit....I don't want to toss them. Places like the salvation army are not in my area but I would like to donate to an organization that serves women in some capacity - healthy lifestyles, professional clothing, etc. Does anyone have suggestions? I'd be willing to mail the nicer ones.

What type of clothing and product will Dress for Success not accept?
Suits and dresses that are not interview-appropriate
Sportswear or casual clothes
Evening wear
Fur coats
Jewelry not appropriate for a professional environment
Used undergarments
Opened or used cosmetics
Opened or used pantyhose/hosiery
Men's clothing

I've sold a lot of my clothes on ebay and at Plato's Closet. The rest I give to a local charity.

I plan on taking some of my clothes to Buffalo Exchange and doing just that, exchanging them for smaller sized clothes. Others I plan to donate. Thanks for the link to Dress for Success. I have a lot of professional clothing that I can get rid of there too.
