Alright ladies good morning and here's to a 100% day. Trying to recover from my cheats on Saturday (planned cheats).
I just told my hubby that having these planned cheats actually help me stay on plan very well for the 2-3 weeks in between. I have 2.5 more weeks ahead of me until the next cheat and I am hoping to lose about 3-5 pounds during that time. |
Today is Day 10 of being back on plan. It is slow going, for sure. I finally dropped another pound after being stuck since last Friday.
I, too, am an "all or nothing" kind of person. Either I'm "on" my diet or "off," and when I'm off, look out. |

I am not sure why I continue to torture myself being off plan and cheating when it just makes me feel crappy. sure it seems worth it at the time but then the fall out happens. I am not saying I will never cheat again, just some thoughts. |

I could not cheat and be there quickly or I can learn how to have cheat days and weekends and get right back on plan. So far I have had one planned cheat night, one planned cheat week, and one planned cheat weekend (over 2.5 months) and I have recovered by getting back on plan the next day. Each time it has gotten easier to get right back on. Man I hope I can keep this up for the rest of my life....I have to! Now I too have to make it to the second week. If I can get past day 5 or 6 it will be smooth sailing....today is day 4. Not sure how the scale reads from my cheat (planned) on Saturday, but I will know this weekend (giving myself a few days for recovery. KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK....:carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot: |
Thanks Darbs7!!! good luck
|
So excited...I hit 70 pounds down this morning. So I have recovered nicely from my cheat this weekend (planned)....I am actually down an additional .8 from when I left last Friday! Yippeee...:carrot:

congrats darbs. It feels so good to make the 70lbs down and other goals like that, whether 10lb, 25, or 50lbs. I know I had a great goal this week, I did lose soem weight but the real goal was I finally weighed less than my husband. That felt really good. Know if I could get past all the stressfull days and nights of school. The end of the semester really can bit. lol. And it is making me want to bite things that are not on protocol.
I wish everyone a successful day to day. |

It is not much different from PH 1, and I bet you like the choices. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. I had decided no matter what weight I was at April 1 - I would start phase 2 on April 1st. So tomorrow I officially will be in phase 2! Need to get transitioned over by the end of the month.

Congratulations, Darbs!
|
i've been wondering where all of you had went! i get my 3 month status in about 8 days, so i will see you guys in here then. i thought i was going crazy and i couldn't figure out why everyone that i knew had disappeared while i was on vacation.
|
it looks like a few of us will be starting phase II this coming month, I dont start untill you all finish so you will have to let me know how it goes.
Good luck |
The scale is finally moving in the right direction! Down 6 pounds and 3 1/2 inches. Now I am having trouble eating all that I am suppose to. It feels so good to be back at it!

I lost 5 more lbs in 10days in phase 2 after a 4 weeks stall don't be afraid of it. I have been in phase 3 for a week now and have not gained. yay!! love IP and I can do this for the rest of my life I KNOW I CAN!
|
I have a question... I am going to phase off for the summer and our 3 weeks at the beach in June. I have read on here that it's 2 weeks on PH2 and 2weeks on PH 3. My coach said it can all be done in two weeks. My goal weight has changed several times but I will be happy wherever I end up. I am okay with myself right now but want to do this program right. Feedback is appreciated.
NSV. Had my first compliment today and it only took me 31 lbs to get it!!! |

Good Morning all....Not sure if I can post over here but I'm so excited I just realized I'm at my goal weight!!! I am going to change it to go 5 more just in case I gain that back in the other phases as I've heard happens. Leaving to Canada in a couple hours for the weekend...Probably won't be 100% but this has been planned for a while. Will be back 100% on Monday.
I feel great and for the first time in my life can wear size 8 and it's not even skin tight...It's amazing. I was starting to get a little reclusive because I didn't like myself (weight) but now I feel renewed and full of energy. I want to say how much I appreciate all you "experienced" IP'ers for all you great advice and inspiration..My coach wasn't well she just isn't, you know what I mean, so you guys were Priceless with your information and inspiration. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!! |

Hey everyone,
so far so good , halfway through my second week again and doing well. Big hurdle today in the break room. We do fun things each month for our co workers and today (april fools day) my unit was in charge of the festivities. We had co workers on a savanger hunt for toast! It relates to us being "burned" out. anywhoo, after the hunt we had all sorts of sweets and stuff in our break room. I almost said what the ****, just indulge and get back on tomorrow. However, I put on a shirt this morning that I bought last summer at my smaller weight (almost there now) and it fit. So I just had my brocoli and a shake and watched everyone else indulge. It was hard at first but then I got engaged in conversation and it became easier. I cannot promise that i will pass every hurdle with the same grace or even at all, but I did for today!!! YAY ME!!! |

Hello all, here is to another great week. So tomorrow will be my official week two weigh in (AGAIN). I am a constant weigher and I have only lost about a pound. The second week is always hard for me and I do not loose much. I am just gonna do my best and keep going. I am nervous as I have to go out of town on April 16-17th, I plan to stay on plan so we shall see how it goes. I have a cheat planned for May 14th so I want to stay op until then.
I was happy to have made it through another weekend with no cheats. it was hard for some reason, I wanted all sorts of stuff not on plan. I was pretty proud of myself that I did not give in Thanks for all the support!!! |
Bad me - it was my turn to cheat on saturday! Ate cashews, jellybeans, almonds, rice and tasted 2 special cakes I baked last week... with 1 1/2 glass of white wine also! Felt bad, tasted good but now back on track as phasing off progresses. Ate phase 2 yesterday and so far so good for today also. With phase 3 just around the corner (as of friday) will be a good OP girl all week!
Have a wonderful IP week everyone! Sylvie |

Hi!
Gosh, here you all are. I've been only posting once a week and haven't "lurked" in a while but I am so glad to have found some familiar names again and see the results.
Way to go DARBS on the 70 pound mark!! WI#17 for me today and I hit 50!! Yipee!! 22 pounds to go to ONEDERLAND!! I am so happy and motivated. Got to say I am so proud of myself for sticking with it because of recent challenges. My hubby of 30 years left me on January 15th. It's been tough emotionally, but I stuck 100% to protocol and it is showing. Please pray for me. It still hurts a lot. Thank you. |
