What exactly is IP?
I apologize in advance if there's already a thread or sticky explaining this, but I didnt really see it... I did however notice over my time on this website that everyone on IP looses weight super quick.
So here are a couple questions I thought of: 1) Is it a home delivery meal system? 2) Does it cost money? If so how much? 3) What do you typically eat? Is it kind of like Atkins where theres no carbs in the beginning and then you slowly begin to add them in? 4) I know with "diets" like this rather than plain ol calorie counting, one tends to be a lot more strict in the beginning and less towards the "end"- but knowing I want my weight to say off for life, once you get to goal, how do you eat? Feel free to add in any more info! Just curious, thinking about trying it out :) |
Thanks for posting this! I have been wondering about several of the initialized programs mentioned, most especially IP.
|
Ideal Protein Program
The name of the program, not a diet, is in the URL. Here is the URL for the entire site. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/ideal-protein-diet-236/
If you Google Ideal Protein you'll get an overview of the program. Then read the sticky called Ideal Protein Phases to get specific information. The cost per meal is $4.00 USD. |
You can also go directly to www.trantiendiet.com to learn about the program.

As far as cost it's about $350 to get started and that usually gives you about 11 days worth of IP products. After that you are looking at about $90 a week. They have supplements/vitamins that you purchase as well so every 4th week is more.
