Heart Healthy Range
 

Heart Healthy Range, I like that. Because my initial goal is 125 but that is really at the high end of normal for me. So later on my goal might change to 118.

I received the best compliment last night. My husband co-worker emailed him how good I looked when we met her and her husband in passing last night. The compliment was greater than she realized, as it gave me the oomph to get back on plan and NOT allow myself to waiver (as I have been for a couple weeks)

My husband's friend hugged me and said, "I can tell how hard you've been working, because you look great!" I thought it was nice that he acknowledged the hard work!

So awesome
 

I've lost 75 pounds pretty quickly, so I get the funniest comments all the time.

I've actually had to reintroduce myself to a few people. One lady at church came up and welcomed me to our church and I laughed, called her by name and said, "We've been coming to church together for 7 years!"

I am in love with my collarbones and when I showed them to my husband and said, "Look!! Look how sexy these collarbones are!" He smiled and said, "Sweetie, it is not your collarbones that I'm looking at!"

Someone actually made a comment about my husband remarrying so quickly. They didn't recognize that it was me!

At the health club yesterday I was about to sit down on the recumbant bike that my husband was saving for me when he said, "Oops! I was about to pinch your butt but I realized there are people behind us!"

I think this is one of the funniest posts I've ever read. That last bit is a corker!

I had someone say something similar ... When ScooterMan and I were out at one of our usual hangouts together, a friend of ScooterMan's asked him (jokingly), "Who's the skinny chick? And, does Svelting know?"

I love this compliment!! What an awesome feeling! Congrats!

I took this as a compliment but I have to admit it was a first.. I had someone look at me and say it's been a long time since I've seen you - you've lost weight on purpose right not because your ill? Gave me a chuckle..

I got a pretty amazing one yesterday. I was on a business trip with my husband and was killing a couple of hours at Starbucks while he worked. There was a guy sitting next to me that I chatted with a little bit while I was there. He had a drink, was there for about an hour, left for a while and came back for another drink. Before he left the second time, he got up, looked at me and said "excuse me, but I just can't get over how attractive you are" and then he walked out. I think my jaw dropped and it brought me to tears. I've never gotten that before. EVER. I'll never see him again and he'll never know how much that meant to me. I saved it in a note on my blackberry under the title "things to remember".

What an amazing feeling!! What kind words from a complete stranger that didn't want anything in return.:smug:

Thats so cute, what your hubby said. Sometimes men say just the right cute lil things, I bet that put a big smile on your face for a few days!

Nice...definitely one to remember.

The best one may have been when I was seeing a girlfriend of 40 years for coffee. Although we'd met several times since I started on the diet, when she met me this one particular day at a Starbucks, she walked all around and past me 3x. Finally, I said "S..." She turned and said, "OMG!! It is you! I saw your car and knew you were here but, you don't look anything like yourself. WOW! You look great." That same week multiple other friends had the same response at various times. It was then I knew I was very changed.

Other favorite comments were:

from my dad, "how much skinnier are you trying to be?"

from a Guy I have been totally into for the past 3 years when I met him to go swimming (in a bikini), "holy S***! Look at you all skinny!"

from my best friends husband "what are you going for?" me: "to be a 10! :) " His reply, "then stop now, cause you're there!" True or not, it made me feel awesome!

My son hadn't seen me for a couple of months. He walked in and saw me and just started screaming OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!
