Is it just daily now? It appears to have changed since I first started here

3FC has decreed that the threads were getting too big and that a daily thread be created. I hope I have that correct!!

You're not wrong - I just thought I would elaborate!

The cap on threads is 500 messages. While a year ago when there were much fewer people this was doable, as the IP group has grown, we're frequently hitting over 100 posts a day. Thus the daily threads. Some holiday weekend, they'll run a 3 day weekend thread. Otherwise, it's just a 2 day weekend thread. :-)

Yes, we were growing quite a bit last spring and shifted to weekly chats for many months. Then, the growth led to friendships and lots of chatter. That with the new group that joined forced us into daily chats.

It really can seem overwhelming to follow sometimes. Don't worry too much. No one expects you to reply to every thread or post. You don't have to post every day (or read every day if you haven't the time.) Just jump in, participate as you can, and enjoy the group.
