Low Resistance

Does anyone else find that their resistance seems to be lower since starting and being on IP? I've had more colds this year than I have in the last 5 years total. I know I have some adrenal fatigue issues, but I was kind of hoping things would get better rather than worse. Now that I have about 30-35 pounds left to lose, I'm trying to determine what my best course of action is and I wondered if it is just a "coincidence" or if others are finding similar.

Thanks,
Marion

The IP plan is low in vitamin C. I'd suggest taking 60 mg a day (See: things I wish my doctor had told me.)

Thanks Linden, I'm already taking larger doses of Vitamin C. I did just have my Vitamin D levels tested and they were very low, so my dosage there has been increased as well.

I made a mistake.. I think.. I had 3 of my daughters chewable Vitamin Cs. They may have had sugar mixed in there some where. Best to check.. time will tell if things slow.

That small of a quantity shouldn't be a big deal.

I noticed that too that in my Chewable Vitamin C is 3 g carbs per one tablet :( happy that I just took one before I noticed !

I got sugar-free chewable Vitamin C at GNC... cherry-flavored...

So far no more colds than usual for me... I seem to have caught my first one of the season from some family member over Christmas, but that's what usually happens... it's not too bad yet, & I'm hoping it'll stay this mild...

hugs

I've been sick twice since I started at the beginning of the month but I suspect it's more likely as a result of my stress level as opposed to the diet..
