Default Mug Cake Recipe

Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Ingredients:
•1 package of Ideal Protein chocolate drink mix
•1 egg white
•1 tsp baking powder
•1 tsp grapeseed oil
•1/2 stevia packet
•A dash of vanilla
•1 tbsp. Walden Farms syrup (raspberry, caramel, or chocolate)

(serves one)

Instructions:

Pour the chocolate drink mix into a large microwave safe mug. Add enough water to bring to a slightly watery pudding consistency. SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES
Recipe by Janeva Eickhoff (from FB IP Support Group)
Ingredients:
1 IP chocolate chip pancake mix
Ό tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
2 T. Walden Farms caramel syrup
2 T. liquid egg whites
1 T. water

Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, combine chocolate chip pancake mix (dry), baking powder and pinch of salt. Mix to make sure baking powder and salt are distributed well.
2. Add remaining wet ingredients, stir just until mixed. Let rest 1-2 minutes to activate baking powder.
3. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray and heat on medium. Pour batter into frying pan to make 2 pancakes and lightly spread batter out into circles to get 2 decent sized pancakes.
4. Cook until edges start to look dry or underside is golden brown. This will take about 2 minutes on medium heat. Flip and cook other side about 30 seconds.
5. Serve with a warmed syrup combination of Walden Farms chocolate and caramel syrup.

SERVINGS: 1 unrestricted

TIP: Omit the salt if you’re looking for a regular Caramel Chocolate Chip Pancake.

Default chocolately chip pancake mix/pizookie

This is an easy Ideal Protein way to have a guilty pleasure!
I don't know if y'all are familiar with a pizookie but, it's a deep dish gooey cookie, made famous by BJ's Brewery they are so yummy and one of the things I miss most while being on this diet! All you need is...
1 IP Chocolately chip pancake mix
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
1 packet of splenda/stevia (optional)
2-3 tablespoons of milk (it should be less than the oz that you can use for coffee in the morning)

mix all the ingredients up in a bowl (or mug) and you should get close to a doughy like mix. Put bowl in the microwave for 30-45 seconds and TA-DA!! A pizookie!(well as close as we can get lol!)

Wow - thanks so much for all these great recipes for the IP packets. I don't like doing the liquid meals. With all the water to drink, it felt like I was drowning - ha! I've tried several of the simple, 1 IP portion ideas and love them. I make zucchini muffins with the Apple oatmeal - yum, and made a zucchini banana bread this morning. I've been craving chocolate treats, so plan to try the pizookie and the chocolate mug recipes. These are really helping me!
