15 lbs was a George Foreman grill, and my final goal gifty to myself is a new food processor. I love to cook and bake. The Foreman is awesome so far!

Originally my goal weight was to lose 35 lbs. When I hit that and had yet to notice any loss in my thighs (ugh! hate 'em), I decided to lower my goal another 10 lbs. To celebrate my accomplishment, however, I bought myself a silver necklace with three personalized charms: a crystal key to remind me that I hold the key to my own success, a heart with my son's initials on it to remind me of why I need to be a happy, healthy role model and a circle with the phrase "Wake Your Dreams" on it (my new motto) to remind me that dreams really can come true.

When I hit -30 I bought myself a pair of Dansko shoes. I had wanted a pair for a long time.

Haven't figured out any big increment rewards yet...but each week my sister, niece and I go for weigh-ins at the same time. There is a nearby Vietnamese restaurant where the chef has worked with our weightloss center to come up with meals that are on the IP plan. (It's greatly increased their business!) So each week, after our weigh-ins, as a reward for a week of no cheating we go to the restaurant afterward and order "D6" -IP style (beef and bok choy).

I love all of these great reward ideas! I really believe that rewarding yourself for your accomplishments ( not only weight loss, but all kinds) makes you more motivated to reach your goals, even with setbacks thrown your way.
I am looking forward to a new wardrobe when I reach my ultimate goal but have been buying better fitting clothes as a short term reward too. I buy them a bit too small so that in the next two weeks or so, they will fit and be another reward!

hi everyone

I decided that my reward will be the result of my efforts once I begin feeling great about me again I am going to buy the clothes I always wanted!!!. But right now, because I cannot buy clothing yet, I am going to get a pair of cute shoes, or sneakers for every 10 pounds,or go to the salon and have my hair done. Good luck everyone!!

I like the idea of staying away from food rewards. We planned a family trip to Disney in December so I guess I will reward myself with that because in December I should reach my goal weight. I think I will continue to celebrate my health-e-ness with yearly vacation trips with my family. We just never took the time out for vacations and I know now life is too short to not take a vacation your time with your family (phat or skinny

Anyone who's been on here for a while knows that I've promised myself a trip to Berlin to rent an apartment, close to my son and his family including, but not exclusively limited to, a 2-year old granddaughter. And even though airline tickets keep getting more and more expensive, I haven't booked a flight yet because (1) I'm a certified member of the slow losers' club, and (2) I haven't found anyone to transport the second animal in my household.

I've been reading this thread for several days and it finally dawned on me that if I land in Berlin in the dead of winter, no matter what I weigh, or how baggy my Hawai'i clothes are, I will have nothing to wear. Visions of self, wrapped in blankets, hobbling to Oxfam.

I hope you realize that I'm laughing my head off at myself and kicking the planner-in-me in the behind. HOW could I be so dense?

So, some winter clothes and a warm coat?

For me, the new clothes are the reward, some inexpensive accessories to go with them. I think when I hit the big 50 I'll spring for a new everyday purse/shoulder bag.

Sssshhh -- if I've had a good week, I have 1 tbsp of half and half in a coffee. Note the singular number and it's once a week, NOVAK

My reward will be new clothes and a trip to the Domincian Republic in Feb with my mother and niece! A girls week aways.. sans kids..!!!!

I don't indulge in mini rewards at this time... being I've only lost my first 20 pounds, however, the reward is people noticing I've lost 20 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm totally addicted to Miche handbags. Since they have a new big Miche bag out I'm going to get the interior once I've lost 20 lbs. Then for every additional 20 lbs I lose I'm going to buy a new exterior for it. So excited!!
