Smile Day 1 on IP

Hi there! Today was my starting day on IP and I am very excited. I decided I needed to make some lifestyle changes. I exercise pretty regularly, but have poor eating habits that has attributed to my continual weight gain, in addition to years of yo-yo dieting. I am very excited about the program and hope it works for me!

I had the omelet and green tea for breakfast!

I would appreciate any insight on which foods are tasty!

Looking forward to learning and sharing here!

Welcome and good luck! I started yesterday. I'm kinda like you...exercise regularly but just don't eat right! So far so good for me. I had a bit of a headache last night but went to bed and everything was fine!

I haven't tried the omelet yet...did you like it? Yesterday I had the blueberry, cranberry pomegranete drink for breakfast, chicken soup for lunch and butterscotch pudding for snack. Dinner was steak, salad and steamed asparagus and mushrooms.

Have a great day!

The omelet was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. Lunch today will be the chicken soup. Best of luck to you!

I am in week 3 and doing great! 18 lbs lost so far. I struggled my first week with headaches and fatigue. Once I went into ketosis, I felt great! Hang in there and good luck!!

I just had my first weigh in, so it's day 7 for me, lost 8.6 lbs. The first couple days are the hardest but you start to feel real good soon! I was an avid Diet Coke drinker and knew once I gave it up I would get a headache but I waited and waited and it never came. Day 4 felt like the best day for me. Good Luck, you're gonna do great!

I got very sick on my first day. I was a huge carboholic! I was so bad my son asked if he should take me to the hospital! Hang in there it gets better and this one really works. DO NOT CHEAT! It only slows things down!trust me I am into week 4 and I learned the hard way! Stay strong.

OK, I finally posted before and afters on the progress photo page. I still would like to lose 30 more, but this is showing a 75 pound loss.

Wonderful -- good luck and welcome! I've been on IP since the middle of May and have lost 40 pounds so far. It works -- stick with it and you'll lose!

I've found that my tastes have changed since I started the plan...packets I liked in the beginning I don't like as much now -- my favorites right now are the cereal and chocolate pudding (I add salt to it), although I can tolerate almost everything at this point...except the soups. Bleck.

Good luck!

Great choice for a diet program!

As Jessica says, our tastes really change during this diet so, keep trying things.

My current favorites:
egg omelette, wild berry yogurt as a drink, mango peach drink, chocolate pudding, cappucino drink, vanilla ready to drink, blueberry pomegranate and jello.

In the beginning I loved:
Cereal with french vanilla stevia (or french vanilla splenda), Eggs, pina colada drink, vanilla pudding, wildberry yogurt DRINK, cappucino drink, and jello

Somewhere in the middle for a little while I liked the butterscotch pudding and lemon pudding.

I've never liked the banana pudding (tastes like laffy taffy banana or the banana skittles).

Today is also my first day on IP!!!! I had the chocolate drink for breakfast, a salad with cucumbers, onions, and lettuce of course for lunch with the peach mango drink. The peach mango drink was disgusting!!! Does anyone have suggestions on what tastes the best? Oh and the chocolate drink was good.
