anyone else experience this??

I was on phase one for approximately 6 weeks and am now on phase two and it's been two months since i started the diet. I have lost about 21 lbs all together. I'm 5'0" and 124 lbs.

Anyways, I have recently, as for the last couple of weeks been experiencing severe stomach pains, constipation, and bloating. I've done research and I seem to have most symptoms of IBS. (irritable bowel syndrome)... it's so painful sometimes I feel discouraged and want to give up the diet.

Has anyone else experienced this??

Does anyone have any tips? Should I give up the diet and hurry onto phase 3 so I can start maintenance?? I have no clue what to do. I just want the pain to stop.

There are many possibilities. It can be sensitivity to splenda/sucralose. It can be too much potassium in your system. It can be too much magnesium in your system. Even too much protein can effect the digestive system. Those are just possible points. Given that you are sharing symptoms related to excess minerals (potassium and magnesium) and you are on a restricted diet still, I suggest you speak with a doctor and ask for blood work to be done.
