If those fall under the "restricted" category I would vote NAY. I sweet fix is not worth slowing down your weight loss. Better to stevia in something to get through the craving.

I just feel the need to say...I am 200000 times cuter than here :D

And granny panties just aren't gonna cut it on that hot new body of yours ;)

On another note, where have you been, Roz?? I miss you!! I have no one else to bicker pointlessly with!!

I HAVE to eat the same things all the time. I'm addictive by nature, and I am like that with everything. Even before IP I ate the same thing everyday, and I'm having a hard time trying new things to find ones I like. The ones I do like I am clinging to like a baby, and refusing to try anything in place of them. :^:

Can't help ya here, but just wanted to say I love your username!!

Well I still can't see my toes through these ridiculous boobs, but I can't see my tummy anymore either!! And for you, that's awesome!!

Even when I was younger (like younger than I am now) I hated crossing my legs around my friends, because theirs would cross right over, and when I tried to do it I looked like a man with my legs crossed. You know, like the ankle on the knee as opposed to the knee on the knee

Personal NSV--I though you all were crazy when you said you ate half a bar. Like, what is that two bites and you're done? How the heck are you full?? Today, I did it with lunch. Yeahhh buddy :dizzy::dizzy:

I also imagine that if you are truely craving something sweet then you may have unwittingly taken in some sugar. For example I found sugar hiding in my dill pickles. Valasic pickles are now off my plan. Evil, yet yummy pickles. Now I only eat Farmers pickles, no sugar.

Hi,

they for sure fall under restricted. I am towards the end of my second week of phase II and I think for the past 3 months while on this diet I have only had 4 to 5 restricted items, 2 of which have been IP bars. Currently I have about maybe 2 more pounds till my goal and I just thought I deserved a sweet treat :)

was wondering more about their taste as they are cheaper than the IP ones.

how about home made lemonade with your own sweetener instead?

How many here have read Dr. Tran Tien Chanh's book The Unbalanced Diet Approach to a Slimmer You?

(If I may share my experience)-PLEASE have your dr check your thyroid levels-thru bloodwork-it may be as simple as you having to take medication!

In 2008 I was having symptoms, losing hair( It didn't show I have a full head of long wavy hair) being so tired all the time, dry skin, constipated, etc.. Dr said " I was fat and hormonal "
Needless to say I went to a new doc who LISTENED to me, felt my thyroid, and felt a deep lump. After tests/bloodwork/ultrasound, and cells removed from that area.. I was told I was suffering from chronic thyroiditus( I had all the symptoms) The cells showed I had thyroid cancer. A Surgeon removed my thyroid. I am fine now but still chubby!

I take synthroid 150mg daily. My endocrinologist, that I see every 6 months put me on a 1000 calories diet..well I was still not eating many carbs or sugars but could only drop 30 pounds over a year. Well of course I put 15 back on after a few bagels and pizza slices..Until a coworker introduced me to IP. She has lost 30 pounds since January, she has 10 to go. She says she cheats that's why the weight hasn't come off faster.. Me, I can't afford to cheat. I need to get it off, it's too expensive to drag out the cost!

oops, I didn't mean to be long winded here.. ~Rosemary

Great! I have also made a study of his book an online resources.

The book is free online on his website. It's very informative and I think it's a must read in order to truely understand the diest. Especially if you are doing IP alone without a Dr. or certified nutritionist.
