FRUMPY! I will be chatting with God on your behalf. I am so sorry but am trusting that you will be restored to perfect health. So many people today are battling cancer and BEATING it! Good for you for following your doctor's guidelines so that treatment can be optimized!!!

BROCOLA~In phase 2, you simply replace one of your IP packets with a "real food source" such as 7 oz of fish or 5 oz of lean beef, turkey, chicken, etc. Don't be afraid b/c it's getting you the protein you need and it's REAL AUTHENTIC WHOLE food that you'll be taking in.

The more water you drink, the more you will urinate it and essential electrolytes (sodium, potassium) out. So your water intake and salt intake impact one another. If you're drinking lots of water, you'll need more salt. Here in the dry desert, it's very easy to drink well over a gallon a day even if I'm indoors just b/c it's so dry. I have at least a teaspoon of salt each day.

Frumpy, I'm so sorry to hear this, you will be in my thoughts. Hang in there!

ibdadozer you and i have had almost identical losses! so neat, i also have lost inches in the bust-3 here- i told my husband that if i lose all my boobs(i've always been at least a D since 13!) he's buying me a boob job. wish those inches would focus more on my hips! good job though
I could stand to lose some boobage for sure, I was in a G/H but now I'll have to go get measured again and see where I'm at. It certainly explains why my bras were not fitting right all of a sudden. My hope is that the loss of inches starts there and then travels downward!!!

Glad to hear you are doing so great! Keep up the good work!

anyone used the adkins snack bars instead of ip bars? they're similar in calorie and fat contents(little less protein) and contain ingredients in the ip bars...going to the grocery store in a bit after the kids wake up and am dying for something besides pudding and drinks.

oh and do we stay under 40 total or net carbs per day? if net, how do i calculate? thanks!!

my coach told me that they are included in allowed veggies they have almost no calorie/fat/carb content so go for it! maybe just drink some extra water for all that salt

I think those bars are fine, I know a friend of mine who buys them. as far as the amonth of carb, I am pretty sure that each person is different. As far as calculating, I say add the carbs on your packets then guestimate what vegies you are eating, I think as along as you don't have a whole bunch of high carb vegetables then you should be fine.

Thanks sooo much guys!!! I'm definitely stocking up on pickles now. I also think it will help me get all my veggies in. I usually drink a lot of water with pickles anyway so I'll make sure to stay on top of it.

Thank you for the help on the sweetner. I usually have 1 large decaf green tea a day but there are some days where 2 is better! I am well within the limit then! I have some Stevia and it is good!

Frumpy--sending hugs your way. Take care.
