Pelvic raises (or bridge) on a bosu ball are the best! hehehe

like this but a bit faster and hold it up on top and slowly lower it and before you touch the floor again slowly raise your butt again :-)http://www.ehow.co.uk/video_4938629_...es-bridge.html

If you are going to raise the leg I'd suggest you hold it a bit lower to work the glutes more...instead of straight up

There are a few choices out there on the internet for bosu balls. Do you have a recommendation? Is the professional one better than a home version?

Of course I want to count the 2 oz, but I don't want to count all 8. I do sometimes just freeze the other 6 and eat it as my snack that night, in which case, of course I would count it. Okay, never mind... LOL I'm just going to go make 2 oz the serving size and divide everything by 4, then if I have the whole thing I'll put in that I had 4 servings. See sometimes we just need to talk things out! :)

Hope everyone has an ideal day today. Tonight is my son's Prom. I'm so excited to see my little boy "all grown up" and Yes, I will take proud mom pics (shutter bug at large - hey shutter bug getting smaller)! :)

Kelsey,
All you have to do is enter your shake in fit day....it should come up as one serving. If you only have 2oz that is a 1/4 of it so change the serving to read .25 then click recalculate. It will do all the math for you.

I have had the same feedback as Kelsey, no crystal light. Some people have coaches who say otherwise but I find it is easy to just add:

lemon juice
peppermint extract or oil
orange extract
cherry extract
sugar free raspberry torani syrup (like they use for coffee or italian sodas)
flavored stevia by sweetleaf (you can get grape, apricot, lemon, orange, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, mint, root beer, dark chocolate and, chocolate raspberry)
http://www.amazon.com/Stevia-Clear-L...1456019&sr=8-2

sliced, peeled cucumbers to a pitcher then cool it in the fridge, you get a nice fresh flavor for the water

I haven't tried these flavored drinks by stevita yet but they are stevia based and seem to be all zero values for cal, carb, fat, sugar, etc. SO I think I might give it a whirl! :)

Thanks for the info . I just ordered some of these. Im doing ok with my water but it would be nice to have some options and some change every once in a while . Can't wait to try them .

You are doing so great! Have you even hinted to your husband that you have lost any weight? He is going to be so surprised. You are looking so lovely.

My most recent NSV...
For the past many years I have only been able to shop at stores such as Lane Bryant or Avenue. I can't remember the last time I was able to buy a pair of pants in a regular department store. I was talking with a friend the other night and she asked if I was able to shop at other stores yet and I said no, but had not actually tried. So on my way home from work yesterday, just for kicks, I stopped by Macy's and was able to fit into multiple pairs of pants and they all fit. At first I just took in 3 pairs of jeans because I thought "If they don't fit I don't want to get too frustrated." The first pair I put on was a pair of skinny jeans, not what I thought I had picked up, but they fit. The second and third pair fit too. SO I went back out and gathered more pants in a variety of styles and brands and they all fit!!!! It is a glorious day to not be restricted to only two stores for retail therapy!!

not really, just what ever is cheaper ;-)

all it does is create instability and make you engage stability muscles too. Eventually as you progress on the Bosu you can get more advanced. Another thing you can try to do is squats on it...slow and steady...start with the flat side on the ground but then change it over, ball side on the ground...that's really the way to go for the bridges if you ask me. Try it with feet apart (at sides of the flat end of bosu) and notice the difference in what you are working out more when you press more through the heels as opposed to when you press down through the balls of your feet.

do the squats first with bosu flat on ground but you can progress to ball side down... you will see how your legs shake out of control at first hehehehe. Be careful getting on it when you get to that point... it's tricky. When you are ready for it let me know and I will try to make a little video to show you how to get on and off and all that good stuff

Yes he knows I am loosing weight . But after 30 lbs I told him I was not going to tell him how much I have lost so he will be surprised. He says he loved me when he left and he will love me just the same when he comes home . But I think he will be plesently surprised . Im not only doing this for him but for myself and my kids .They deserve to have a healthy mom and wife and I deserve to feel secure about myself and healthy . I really am feeling great and never thought I could do this . I know the Lord has given me strength and I had just got to the point where I knew I had to do something . This has been one of the best tools that has helped me . I love seeing evrybodys updates and suggestions and feel like we are all working together . So proud of everyone !

I sit here on the couch drinking my coffee with the warm sun creeping through my window, watching Hudson play with his train. A warm breeze slides through the window and envelopes me and I think to myself could my life get much better than this. ♥

...I know it has nothing to do with weight loss, I'm just happy and wanted to say it out loud :)

It has been a while! I weighed in last Tuesday and lost another 4.8 lbs!! YEAH..so excited. Today I finally got my weight tracker...
I have a question: I was looking for some spices for my veggies at the grocery store and seen this, a bottle of clubhouse seasoning, parm and garlic...the only thing is it is 0carbs, 0cals, and 0 fat. I first thought, can I have this? Even though we are not allowed dairy or cheese. Then it occured to me that it is weird how it is 0 everything...it should be allowed right??? It has low salt content too...what are your thoughts...

Day One!

First day on the IP program and after reading about everyone's success, I am excited. I know my greatest challenge will be the social situations: potlucks at work, potlucks at church, dinner with friends. But I am confident that I can do this!
