I order my IP stuff from another state, they barely ask how I'm doing and yes, I totally get better info from this site!! Scale question..I always weigh myself in the morn - every day (I know, I know), but lately I've been 'scale hopping' ..if I'm somewhere and I see a scale, I hop on- the problem is now I keep getting all kinda different readings! Should I just trust my scale at home? I just don't want to lie to myself! Also, ordered Lindora stuff last Sun, received it today..not bad. And good idea about cheating w IP stuff. I'm visiting the inlaws alone w the kids and I"m starting to feel on edge..maybe I'll have another IP packet! |
Question
Hi everyone. I'm new so I hope I am posting right. I still don't quite understand threads.
Today is my first day on IP. I feel great so far. I had the mushroom soup with cauliflower and a salad. Loved it! Yum! I told my husband that soon he will have a hot wife in a bikini. We've been married for 14 years and never had a honeymoon.....Hawaii here we come!!! Does anyone know if we can add crystal light to our water? Thanks. Kami:dizzy: |

I kinda knew it had happened and could sense it but my brain just couldn't catch up and couldn't comprehend it. A little more than a week ago my coach put my pictures in front of me, all side by side, and I was amazed at how much I have changed. I still have alot to go in my opinion but it was a shock to see it. I still walk into places and choose the seat with extra room around it. I worried flying how crowded I would feel in my seat. I feel like people stare because " I am the fat girl" not because " she has a nice blouse on" :) !! I still have my "fat girl" mentality. They tell me that will go away over time. My girlfriend has caught me several times, automatically, going to the wrong size clothing rack and has to say "you can't wear those anymore"! I think it is just the catching up of the whole mind body thing! |

Some people have coaches who say otherwise but I find it is easy to just add: lemon juice peppermint extract or oil orange extract cherry extract sugar free raspberry torani syrup (like they use for coffee or italian sodas) flavored stevia by sweetleaf (you can get grape, apricot, lemon, orange, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, mint, root beer, dark chocolate and, chocolate raspberry) http://www.amazon.com/Stevia-Clear-L...1456019&sr=8-2 sliced, peeled cucumbers to a pitcher then cool it in the fridge, you get a nice fresh flavor for the water I haven't tried these flavored drinks by stevita yet but they are stevia based and seem to be all zero values for cal, carb, fat, sugar, etc. SO I think I might give it a whirl! :) http://www.amazon.com/Stevita-Co-Inc...1456019&sr=8-1 |
Hey everyone! I just saw Bev replied about daily weight fluctuation. I hadn't thought about it either until my BF was laughing at me for scale hopping and said "you know how much water you drink, right??? That gallon alone is 8 pounds! If you drink more, eat more, even if you are running to the bathroom all day you are still going to go fluctuate in weight everyday! YOU are so Funny!" RIGHT!! ;P HAHAHA...
After I thought about it, he was right (as usual) and I just weigh in the morning now! I also don't weigh every day. I only weigh if an outfit drastically changes in the way it fits or I seem puffy. SO, my big news since coming back! :) I had a 4 pound loss coming back from vacation and was on T.O.M. (newbies, that is time of month :) abbreviation)!!! Best part! I fit into my size 10 skirt before I left but when I got back... got into my 10 pants too! I went shopping yesterday and bought medium size tops, a size 10 summer dress ( BF says it is already to big in places) and I have lost a full SHOE size!! WHO KNEW! I feel like doing back flips! :) Carla |

If someone told me I could be kicked out of the program for cheating or that I had to turn in food logs or they would lose their license, I would say thanks but this program is NOT for me!! You can't threaten people into compliance. Who wants to be treated that way??? And yes I do agree with Carla. I keep a journal of weight loss and what I have eaten and how I am feeling. It is true that you lose more weight when you keep track of what you eat. fitday is great for that too. |
