Are you using the protein powder to make drinks? I use the powder, and found that putting it into a blender to mix it makes it better! I know you probably don't have a blender at work, but if you can, try using one to make your shakes. You might also be able to take a hand blender with you to make up the shakes. I think you will notice a big difference!! It takes a little "gettin used to" in order to like the shakes! But you can do it! If you find that you cannot tolerate the shakes made with powder, try the EAS Advantage Carb Control protein shakes. If you live close to a Walmart, you should be able to find them there. Good luck with starting your diet! |
If you order from Lindora or other alternatives, how long do you have to wait for your order?
|
Has anyone found an alternative place to order puddings?
|
I have been ordering Lindora and the shipping is fast and not at all costly. They have great specials and there are items that I think taste much better than IP. I still buy my favorite IP products as well, chili/Wildberry drink/ready to drink. Lindora has drinks, puddings, hot items, desserts, snacks, you name it, and a cheap $5 hand blender. They had bars 1/3 off a week or so ago and drinks 1/3 off this week. Very pleased with their products. Some of their items would be one per day or two per week limits on IP and I try to stay in that same pattern by comparing it to the IP nutritional info for those restricted items (bars, stew, spaghetti) on a carb, calorie and fat basis.

I just looked at the Lindora site, and it is the same foods as New Lifestyle, etc. same manufacturer which is Robard. Also, what dietdirect offers
If you go into the medifast forums here, there is an alternatives thread. Look at the medifast thread titled -non-medifast-brand-foods-substitution here in the forums under diet delivery. The cheapest but the same packets I've found is at body and health essentials. That said, I buy the bulk EAS Carb control powder at Sam's Club for MUCH less, even. But if you are buying packets, it's $7/box at body and health essentials. Other posters give good nutritional comparisons on that thread, as well. Good luck! |

I have also used the EAS low carb shakes that are already mixed up for when I don't have time to make a shake. They are great! Also at Sam's:smug: I have also ordered from Lindora. I only order the things I can't get at the regular store....pudding, spaghetti and cheesecake pudding (yum!!) I use the pure protein bars but try not to eat one every day. |
Found a protein shake at Costco:
"Introducing the Premier Nutrition Protein Shake in a convenient Tetra PakŪ. Each delicious shake contains 30 grams of high quality protein, 3 grams of fat, 1 gram of sugar, and only 160 calories!" These shakes taste pretty good. I bought them before I decided to go with IP. Could I use them during phase 1 or will the 1 gram of sugar mess me up? |
Has anyone tried the new Total Lean stuff at GNC- Doing IP now but wondering if the GNC is comparable????
|
Jordanna,
You seem to be good at answering questions. I am on IP but since yesterday but I am not using the IP products...I have a chocolate soya pudding in the morning that I make (WHEY chocalte protein, spenda and soft tofu, no carbs) and 2 pieces of cheese (no carbs). For lunch I have a salad with chicken, 1 cup of cucumber and 1 cup of celery and for dinner some canned tuna with brocoli and turnip...I drink over 2 liters of water a day with some crystal clear and 2 slim down bars that has 15 gramms of carb (1 gr of sugar). Can anybody tell me if I am doing OK? I also have about 650mg of potassium and my calcium and magnesium....Thank you in advance for the answer.. And also I wanted to specify we cannot get the lintora of new lifestyle products deliver here in Canada.... :( |

I love the soy chips that ideal has but cannot find them anywhere else and they are $$ |
