Thanks for the tip on the Walden Farms. Unfortunately I was unable to use the WW code. Perhaps because I am from Canada?

Could you guys let me know what TOM is?

Sakrbait and rachel13--hang in there!! some weeks are slower thn others and it is not a reflection of what you are doing, if you are following the protocol, it is a reflection of your body adjusting to the changes that are taking place. I believe when you stress about it your body will respond more slowly so take a deep breath and know that IP works if you work it!

I ordered 5 bbq sauces for 24.95 + 8.95 shipping. Quite happy with this as my "coach" sells her products at a very high "profit" ~ cough ~ I mean "rate" of $10.00 for any bottle of sauce. My local nutrition store, which only charges 4.49 for any WF product, will not be placing a new order for at least 1 month!!! Ahhhhhh! I need my BBQ sauce! lol! Website said it will only take 3 business days to ship out so am very excited to get my package!!:D |

Hi Cinnamon Sprinkles! Welcome to 3FC!! In regards to types of food I can eat being both gluten and lactose sensitive..... In the beginning it was trial and error, but then thankfully I stumbled upon a great resource posted by Ogdog in the IP FAQ section :) This great resource outlines all of the nutritional facts for the food and helped me tremendously in choosing foods that would not impact me negatively. I have finally found the foods that work best for me and being such a creature of habit, I haven't really explored any further. (usually when I begin experimenting, it causes a BIG upset - so is not worth it!!) Here is a breakdown of my every day IP Plan: Breakfast: Cappuccino, chocolate drink or the puddings (made into a drink) Lunch: (plain) soy nuts, jello or chocolate pudding, large salad (I include baby spinach as a lettuce) with 2 c veggies (usually celery, radish and cucumber) Snack: jello, chocolate pudding or cran/pom drink Supper: 5 oz lean meat with salad (include baby spinach as a lettuce) and 1 cup steamed veggies (usually brocolli and celery) and salad with remaining veggies Be careful though because even though some products will say they are gluten free, they are not lactose free. I tried the pink lemonade and was very sick. Did not realize that it was not lactose free. Same as the nuts. They themselves are gluten and lactose free, but the seasoning they put on them is not. Again, found this out the hard way! lol! :dizzy: |

But don't you "feel" skinny? More so than on any other diet? |

I have tried some of salad dressings and each time have had to dress them up with a lot of seasonings to kill the chemical taste. Instead I use the raspberry jelly and add seasoning and vinegar and create my own vinegarette. I also like the caramel and chocolate dip! I mix it with plain soy nuts, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes to get it firm and it reminds me of an Eatmore Chocolate bar :T And I LOVE the BBQ sauce! Very yummy! I will continue to use this sauce long after I am finished with the IP Plan!! |
Day 2 is shaping up to be much yummier than Day 1! I made an iced cappuccino this morning that was super good - and for lunch I had the chocolate pudding that I let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes or so. I can definitely do this! :)
