2 Point Pumpkin Squares!
Cant wait for Thanksgiving!! my WW leader shared a good recipie with us, an alternative to pumpkin pie, pumpkin squares.
Mix together, one box of angel food cake mix with one can of pure pumpkin and 1/4 cup of water, bake according to the box. You can also add nutmeg and cinnamon to taste. She brought some in, they were good.
bake it in a 9x13 pan, cut it into 12 even squares, and it's 2 points a square!
Another alternative to the recipie is, use a can of light cherry pie filling and 1/4 cup of cocca powder and it makes back forest squares. I'm gonna make these for Thanksgiving this weekend!
***Just an update, I made the black forrest squares...they are more cake like than squares. I served them with fat free cool whip, and these are 3 points, maybe 4 depending on what type of stuff you use...very tasty though!***
