Finally!
This morning the scale read an even 240.0!
Over two years it took me to lose this weight. It feels like a tremendous weight has been lifted :dizzy: I am looking good, I think. Not as trim as I hoped but not bad at all. I could stand to lose another 15, to be completely honest. I'm going to wait a while before I adjust my ticker again though, and bask in the goal-ness that is today. And see if the number peeks below 240. |
:congrat: Superfluous on reaching Your Goal Weight! :cheer3: :cheer2: :cheer3: :cheer2: |
Congratulations! :bravo:

Thanks for the support everyone! For a long time it seemed like such an impossible goal. I dipped from 294 to 248 in just 6 months then could not keep up that 248, I soon gained 15 lbs. But got back on track and dropped that 15 and on my way down to a new goal of 225!
I have noticed a lot more attention from women too! Some going out of their way to approach me and talk, some looking at me as I walk by! That hasn't happened in forever. Not that I am really "looking" at the moment... eventually maybe. But I do like the attention! |
Wonderful! Congrats!!! My husband is 6'4" and currently 240. I think he looks mighty fine, but he would rather be 220 for the same reason you said. I am very glad you are getting looks from the ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will say though - I don't avoid people who are overweight. Perhaps you are giving out more confident and approachable vibes?

Congratulations on ALL your hard work. I keep hearing "it is a marathon, not a sprint!" Slow and steady and all that. You are an inspiration to me. You didn't give up and you did it. I will take something from that.
