How long was the journey? When did you lose the most weight? Very interested :)

Thanks! It has been just under six months, so I lost about 10 pounds per month. It was a little faster for the first couple of months and a little slower for the last couple of months, because of course my calorie deficit was not as big. I did it by counting calories and aiming for roughly 1200 per day, but I have tried to consider anything up to 1400 okay. I followed my plan throughout the holiday party season, but ate whatever I wanted on Thanksgiving and while home for Christmas. I ate more in response to exercise. Although I probably should have been better about eating back exercise calories, and in the last few months I became much stricter about not going much over 1200 calories.

Now I'm slowly adding more calories and hoping I can figure out how to maintain the loss! I think I am going to try and train for the half marathon I did last year (fat girls can run too!) and see if I can improve my performance. Having something new to aim for seems less unsettling than just trying to keep things the same.

That's a great loss for 6 months! Stories like these honestly keep me so motivated, to when I can make a post like this and inspire others. Also what a wonderful outlook to keep creating and going for goals, sounds like you already know what you should do to maintain and continue your happy journey!
