I lost less so I don't have as much skin, but I am going to get TT&BL (and brachioplasty) so I would love all the glory details.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. If you're stuck in bed and bored, we're here to chat :)

I'll be sure to share! I asked my surgeon about my arms, and he said, "You lift weights, right?"

Me: "Well, ya, but not much. After I heal from surgery, my focus will be toning, especially my arms."

Surgeon: Well, you hardly have any loose skin, and what you do have, you can visually fix with weights."

Me: "Awesome! One part of my body being 350 DIDN'T ruin!" :carrot:

I'll be sure to give my physical address to someone on here, and give them permission to come break down my door if I go more than 2 days without being on here! I have no excuse, unless the pain meds literally knock me out (I've only ever had Vicoden, and it did NOTHING, not even tired/loopy). My boyfriend and I spent last weekend rearranging the entire apartment to make it post surgery friendly, including setting up my computer so someone just needs to hand me my keyboard and mouse, and put the footrest on the recliner out for me, and I can type away without being more uncomfortable than necessary!

I just started thinking about this last night and I might wait on my arms. They are bad, but the scarring with the arm surgery its pretty bad, too. With my tummy and boobs fixed up, maybe I won't care so much?

Yea, I've seen pictures of the scarring where it has healed "perfectly", and mine just are not bad enough to justify the cost, scar, or pain! My surgeon told me that even if I wanted my arms done, they couldn't be done at the same time as my boobs because of the way the skin is pulled. I don't know if that is standard or because the the extreme cuts I need to fix my boobs. He has to cut a good part of the way around me because I have SO much side boob! lol

If you look at the pics on my blog, you can see how big my arms were, and how they have progressed. In the last pic (with the purple top), if you click on the pic, you can see where most of my loose skin is (near the tricep). I don't know if that visual will help you decide if it is worth it. For a measurement, if I pinch the skin on my tricep, from bone to end of loose skin is about 2 inches. But I would think they would only take about 1 inch off as I do need SOME skin to go around the bone! lol
