It's so inspiring to see these pictures, especially seeing that you accomplished this simply through diet and exercise! You look sooo different (obviously)!! So motivational, because if you can lose 300 pounds, why can't I lose 100? Thanks for posting!!
Holy smokes, Jerome!!! This is a wonderful accomplishment. Your achievement is inspiring. Your results demonstrate the wisdom of a healthy approach to weight loss. Your attitude rocks!
Enjoy the beautiful life you are creating for yourself.
WOW! Still sore from running my first 10K Race since 1985! My official time was (and you can say it was easy as) 01:02:03! : ) Was on pace to run it in under an hour but at the 5 mile marker I had a hammy tighten up on me and had to walk a bit. It was 49:01 at that point! Oh well, still tore up my expectations of 11 minute miles (01:08:20)! Did my weights Sunday morning and a spin class and steamed this morning. Plan on hitting another spin class tonight! I think my scale is broken! It doesn't want to go below 200! : ( Oh well...gotta keep doin what I'm doin!
My BMI was 27.5 and fat % was 16.6%. Funny thing happened though! A bunch of people thought I looked taller so I had them take my height measurement again. My first visit I was 5' 11" but last week I measured 5' 11.5"! WOOT!
Congratulations! I saw you on the Joy Fit Club. You are an inspiration. I watch all the Joy Fit Club segments. There was a time that I did not think that it was really possible to lose large amounts of weight without surgery. I learned through this forum and success stories like yours on the Joy Fit Club that weight loss is really doable.
Congrats, JB! You look phenomenal! Question, how did your skin take to the loss? Did it spring back or do you/did you have any issues with its elasticity, if you do not mind my asking?
