Hi Everyone,

I have struggled with weight for years and years. No matter what, nothing seemed to work. I never had enough discipline to make dieting stick and I had no time for exercise. My weight ballooned to 275 pounds two years ago and I finally had enough.

Last year, I started tracking everything I ate and any exercise I did. I used an online internal system I developed to do so. My weight has come down 30 pounds and my gym time has been steadily increasing!

In September, I started using Disciplanner to track my weight and have never looked back!

WOW. that's all I can say!

You look beautiful, what an amazing job! That's totally inspirational, I showed it today to my sister who is struggling and feeling like she can't do this, so thanks for sharing. Do you mind me asking what an average day food wise looks like for you and what your workout schedule is like?

Wow! You look like a totally different person! Well done!

Thank you for the compliment. Often times I tend to just do lean protein and veggies for lunch and dinner. I shop at Costco/Sam's Club for the big resealable bags of frozen chicken breasts. This allows me to take out just what I need...reseal the bag...and put the rest back in the freezer. I prefer buying frozen meat/protein because it lasts longer.

Also, I am a "single lady" so the big freezer bags allow me to take out two or three chicken breasts just for me. Instead of cooking a big meal and being tempted with leftovers.

There are other sources of frozen protein/meat I purchase in Costco's freezer section such as turkey burgers, individually wrapped salmon and other fish, scallops and shrimp. This gives me variety and again allows me to take out a portion size that is just enough for me.

I've heard some folks say that fresh meats and produce are better for you...but buying a bunch of fresh meat and procduce for just once person isn't good for my budget. And quite frankly I've relied on Costco's frozen meat/fish section for much of my weight loss...and I'm still breathing and kicking!

Also, the only things I drink are water, occasional coffee and decaf tea. I don't waste calories on things like soda or juices (even orange juice). My thing is if I'm gonna consume a lot of calories its gonna be on something I can chew not drink!

The only sweetner I use is Splenda. I buy it in the little packets (again from Costco) and use no more than 3 a day (not everyday, just if I do have something that requires sweetening.)

Near the bags of salad in the grocery store, there are bags of alreadychopped/shredded red and white cabbage and broccoli slaw. I cook often cook this in a skillet, season with salt-free seasoning and have it with a protein/meat.

Just when I felt like throwing in the towel!!!! Thank you! You have inspired me to keep going. I have been getting stuck at the same weight on and off for a month. I lost only 2 lbs in October.
