What a wonderful picture. You are radiating confidence & fun.

After looking at your picture, I went off & did a Jillian Michaels "Armed & Dangerous" mini workout. So there's another concrete example of your inspiring someone. (I was tired & didn't feel up to it, till I saw what you had accomplished & heard the holy name of Michaels invoked.)

Awesome awesome job! It's been said a lot, but your arms look great really. I am doing the jillian michael's workouts as well, it really does wonders for your arms. I use 5 lb. weights, and mine don't even look that good. Great job, very inspiring.

Ladies,

Thank you so much for all the compliments and praise--and--I am completely flattered and humbled by any of you considering me an inspiration. Please understand most of the words used to describe me here I would never even put in a sentence regarding myself.

I feel inspired daily when I read all of our threads here. Even though my weightloss has been extremely personal to me and completely internal from it's origination, the help I have received being here at 3FC has been paramount in my efforts. I have always felt comfortable expressing my most personal thoughts about this journey here. It is such a multi-faceted task for me. It is such a relief to know there is a place I can come where other people GET IT.

It's funny almost, but I never really considered my arms before these pics were posted. So many people here have commented on them that I now see them in a new light. LOL. Thanks, ya'll! I think they have been there for sometime actually just covered up by many pounds.

No major bumps by the grace of our God.

I started in late May 2008--just making minor changes. In early June I saw a pic of myself and truly didn't know I looked like that. It was a day I thought I was looking really good--new clothes, flawless makeup--but I still looked sickly and with no sparks of me left. I made completely changes in my diet within a few days of that.

During the summer months I stuck to Lean Cuisines and the like. By September I went vastly to whole foods--90-95% of my intake and began calorie counting.

As for exercise last summer I was just trying to walk my kids to the park and pool more and move more in my house--less TV. In August when they started school I started walking--2 or 3 miles briskly each day. By October I was running as I could alternated with walking. I run now 3-4 miles 5 or 6 days a week now. I dawdle around with the 30DS and other Free On Demand Dvd's that look good.

I have taken Alli off and on during my journey. I do think it helps expedite the process if you stick to the program as it prescribes in the starter pack. I do have Alli now but only use it on pre-planned days as decided with my doctor--one day each week or fortnight.

Whole foods, fiber, water, exercise, consistency, 3FC. Yep, that's it.
