I don't have to cry anymore
2 Attachment(s)
There I was, 10 years old, standing on my mother's scale with my face buried in my hands letting out a sob. The scale said 180, I now weighed as much as my pregnant cousin. Right then all the mean comments came back into my head "ugly" "Savanah the savage" "ogre" "fatty fatso". And now it was even worse. I was terrified when I read 175 but then humiliated when it said 180.
5 more years I let go by, miserably overweight. One day I stepped on the scale again, 212 at 15, I once again had to wipe away the tears. But now the tears were not just tears but I also had fear. "Oh God I am going to die before I am 20 at this rate!" I had to make a change.... so I did. Here I am now, at 17, 7 years past that horrible memory of seeing the scale read 180, and now I am 175, now I cry not tears of horror but tears of joy! :carrot::carrot::carrot::dizzy::dizzy::carrot::car rot::carrot: |
