I haven't felt like it has been hard to maintain. I gave myself a five pound range and have managed to stay within (or a little under). I just reached a year of maintenance earlier this month!!!!! I think a huge factor was finding a plan that encourages moderation instead of elimination of things. I have gone through weeks where I overindulged and found myself at the higher end of my range, but in general, I've stayed closer to the bottom end. And I've never gone above my range. I'm a daily weigher (only once in the morning) and it keeps things in check.
