Default Introduction

I posted a little bit on my other thread about being frustrated... but here is my official introduction!

I'm Kindra, age 28. Married to dh Chris. We live in the Denver area. We have 4 children. My stepson, Stephen, is 13 1/2. Then our "babies" are Seth 4.5, Elissa 2.5, and Noah 10 months.

I am breastfeeding, and on the red plan. Starting out at 237. Having 3 babies in such a short span wasn't great for my body! I never lost weight from one before getting pregnant again. So, here I am. :-)

Thanks to the support in the other thread. I definitely need help with menu planning and ideas. I am so stuck on it. I've never been much of a cook.

Talk to you all soon!

Welcome KindraD. Sounds like you have your hands full. This is a great site; lots of newbies and seasoned LAWL chicks. It's a great plan. Personally, I think it's more structured than WW, but I need the structure. Good luck.

Hi Kindra,
I'm a newbie to both LAWL and TFC too! Welcome!
I'm really liking the program I need the structure and the one on one 3x week counceling weigh-ins.

I don't have kids, but I have 4 pets! (2 dogs & 2 cats) I got married last year (first & last time) at 40 yrs old. At the time I weighed 158 and wanted to lose 18 pounds.....somehow I gained 40 pounds in about 5 months! Some people call it happiness.....but I was feeling like a brautwurst about to burst!

The "Carb Cravers" like the bagel with cream cheese and tomato or the Peanut Butter and Jelly are a treat for me. I also buy a couple of Lean Cuisine meals for when I get stuck at work.

Baby steps.....but if you can stick with it, it really seems to be working!

Good Luck!!

NOTHING tastes as good as skinny feels!

Hey Kindra,

Welcome.

Weightloss is such a struggle. We have to deal with food every day. Also, I think when you are a parent and/or living with someone else with whom you share foods, it is more of a challenge to stay on plan. Lots of us set minigoals, rather than look at the big goal. It definately helps!
